203. I don't usually write poorly (am publishing a book on art this spring, in fact) but this is what you

get when writing quickly and expecting your audience has knowledge of what you are writing about. I realize now that some folks here don't remember the whole Anita Hill thing and it is old history. You would think that if they were that concerned they would check what I wrote with historical fact first. Google is a godsend. You can check stuff all day long.

I will not rewrite at this point (what I said was true). And I will not delete it. People will lose interest eventually and it will fade away.

But the more disturbing thing in all this is what I wrote in a response just a little while ago. To paraphrase, this has all the earmarks of schoolyard bullying, with other kids being cool and joining in. I hate to think of DU that way but that is exactly what happened here. And I was that kid who finally said she wouldn't be bullied. I am 79 years old. Some kid.
