In reply to the discussion: Who have you ruled out? [View all]Laura PourMeADrink
(42,770 posts)65. Yeah, well I am in the camp of maybe one member
I care more about making sure Trump loses than having my choice of a perfect person. In other words, giving up my dream for a true progressive, because if he gets it again, I don't think we will survive.
Not sure how the most progressive candidates can add much to the ticket at all. We already have all those States that would vote for them. We need to look at maybe 10 states and find two people that could win them.
I know I am not preaching to the choir here, but I'll keep saying it.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

Good list, but I'll be looking for what Gillibrand has to say leading up to the primaries.

Mathematically speaking, the nominee only needs to flip Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan

I would be happy to add support to him-would love to hear a debate of UBI & his Freedom Dividend

When you say ruled out, does that mean you won't vote for them if they are the nominee?

I think the OP's implication was only for the primary, not the general.

Bernie Booker and Biden. But will campaign long and hard for whoever the nominee is.

Sanders, Gabbard, Gillibrand. No question. I will NOT support any of those at all.

Interesting concept, but for me it might be easier to say who I prefer at this time...

I am not going to waste my time on polls at such a early date in the primaries. nt

Gillibrand - but whoever the party nominates will be an improvement on Trump.
