Cornyn is in no trouble. Beto's vote was anti-Cruz and there is only one Cruz.
Forget Kansas and Tennessee. That's a pipe dream.
Perdue and McSally become more vulnerable by voting for conviction than voting for acquittal. They may not even survive a primary if they vote against Trump and Purdue would rather lose the election than vote against Trump. You may think an acquittal vote weakens Purdue, but the exact opposite is true. He will not pick up a single vote against Abrams by voting against Trump, but would easily lose 15% of his base.
The best chance to take back the Senate is to have Trump head the Republican ticket, wounded from hearings and acting out of control. Don't give him a foil and stay on message.
