It seems Pete and Chasten Buttigieg have very different music tastes. That could make for an eclectic inauguration playlist, should the South Bend mayor win the presidency.
The 2020 hopeful was approached by TMZ Thursday morning and asked what kind of music he'd want at his swearing in ceremony. It seems like Buttigieg hasn't thought about it too much, but he seemed intrigued at one idea the reporter brought up: Phish.
"Boy, if you could get Phish to do an inauguration, that'd be something," Pete Buttigieg said. "Maybe we should ask them."
He's a big fan of rock music; he told TMZ days earlier that Cosmo's Factory, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Dave Matthews Band, Radiohead and Jimi Hendrix are among the acts he enjoys.
