158. Can't just admit you were wrong?...

You do know the expression "and I was just starting to like so-and-so" can be used as a figure of speech? It means the OPPOSITE of the literal meaning. But, of course, you already know that and know that I've been VERY fond of Mayor Pete since he came on to the scene.

People with whom I've communicated know my fondness for Mayor Pete... that's all I care about. Don't care whether you believe me or not.

Just admit you we're wrong in mischaracterizing my fondness for Mayor Pete and apologize... it's really not that big a deal!! Or go on, trying to prove I was never fond of him... I don't mind at all.
