appeal is far, far greater than it is, especially if their friends on social media are supporters as well.
The tendency of many of his supporters to shut down or shout down any criticism of him on social media amplifies that misperception.
Sanders supporters often don't understand just how many people aren't going to vote for him, because many people just don't feel it's worth the effort to endure the abuse and accusations of being a corporate stooge that often directed at those speaking up about why they like another candididate or what they see as Sanders' shortcomings when there are Sanders supporters present.
Dissent or disagreement with anything he says is not tolerated by Sanders and his surrogates, and many of his supporters take that as a directive to attack/try to silence it whenever they encounter it. "You just can't say anything nice about Bernie, can you?" is often the nicest response at someone who doesn't go silent after comments concerning Sanders' record or statements that isn't praise.
That's a bit of that going on right now on DU.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
