and I love the thought of goosing SS/IRA retirement for those of us who spent ~20 years paying off this debt. Shoring up SS would probably help a LOT with this plan.
And I agree completely on your last point. My degrees would have cost 3x (if not more) today. I was in debt for almost 2 decades, but not destitute.
There is a balance to be found here, and even Buttigieg backed off his previous hard 'nope' when asked about it last night. This is a winning idea - just needs to get a few kinks worked out.
Elizabeth was my 2016 dream candidate. While I will #VoteBlueNoMatterWho, I will bust my ass for her if she captures the nomination.
Sleep is overrated.
