(58,785 posts)what we want, as are all our more promising candidates. Remember how powerfully the midterms illustrated this. They completely refuted the agitprop theme that our party is seriously divided.
Sanders positions himself as and is an outlier, yes. But at that, this OP is ONLY talking about the quarter or so of his followers who refused to vote Democrat before and promise to again. The rest were, are, and will continue to be united with the rest of their party to elect Democrats.
Btw, remember, at this point Sanders has less than half of the following he did last time. He's lost a bunch of Democrats to other candidates. And presumably, some of those primary voters who decamped to Trump didn't come back. Of those who came back to him and plan to leave after the primary, we're not talking about a lot of people and they are not ours to keep anyway.
