In reply to the discussion: Washington Post-What we learned from Bernie Sanders's town hall [View all]LisaM
(29,573 posts)88. I meant that I felt like whenever I turned on those networks, I saw one or the other.
I just went back and looked up some stuff about coverage in 2015 and 2016 and while Hillary was covered, an astounding percentage of the coverage was negative. It wasn't clips of her doing town halls, rallies, whatever.
I have always loved politics but in 2016 I just had to flat out stop watching political shows. The sight of people holding mass rallies to incite their followers disturbed me. Give me the "old" days with shows like "Crossfire" (which I still miss).
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

Senator Bernie Sanders did not vote, but would have voted for the sanctions.

Okay. That's a point against him. I didn't know he also voted against sanctions on Russia before.

It's the selling of a fantasy... but if it won't work in the real world, I'm not buying.

All talk about what we "oughta" do and what we "needa" do... but no realistic plans.
