He will have no easier or harder time getting things through the Senate than anyone else. If Republicans are keep the Senate, McConnell will block everything. If so, we would be back to executive orders like the last 4 years of Obama. Which wasn't normal.
If Republicans do not keep the Senate, Schumer will happily work with any Democratic President. If so we will have to end the filibuster and have a crash program of pushing through long-needed reforms which will create a new normal. I'd rather have a President who knows he or she wants this new system to look like than one who knows how the old worked.
