(43,312 posts)I'm not even here to make her case, just to put perspective on a problem everyone wants to blame Joe Biden from almost 30 years ago, when I was teaching 180 kids a day and raising a toddler.
The whole thing reeked of theater. Injustice seemed baked in, as it usually is for women at all levels.
I didn't get stuck there, though. And I'm not constantly aggrieved about how rigged against women it all is. Once you can ruin a woman presidential's legitimate win -- with men across continents in sync if not conspiring against her -- there are only a few options left, short term.
And a long career was the ongoing reality for Anita Hill. There will be plenty of experience left for all the other females in this system -- party politics or government -- to get. For men it can be a long game. For women it is a millennial game.
You won't get another squeaky clean Obama from this party, either, one who has the requisite experience and good will of the Senate and international community, when they have to, at the same time, clean up yet another destructive elephant mess.
This thread has echoes of the usual primary clay pigeon shooting zone.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
