Who'd have thought a one-color male-female ticket would lack a desirable degree of diversity so soon, though? We (amazingly!) haven't elected a woman of any color president yet, but at least minority men can be said to have made substantial progress, with the traditional assumed trickle-down benefits to their "womenfolk."

Oh, my. I just remembered way back when militant black activists called on black women to contribute to the revolution by producing more black babies. Did NOT go over well!
