From manufacturing to assembly to maintence to power management....it requires lots of human inputs.

Up here in Maine, I have solar with battery back up. Costs me $35/month to stay hooked up to the grid. In actuality, CMP is making $60/month on me as I dump an average of 500kw of energy back onto to the grid. And solar helps to delay infrastructure investment due to future increased power demand. Shareholders gotta like that.
