Trump and other MAGA Republicans and even some democrats are calling democratic socialists, like AOC and NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani "communists." But that simply isn't true. There is a lot of confusion over who and what is an actual socialist, communist, fascist and then a democratic socialist. The terms can be confusing; but it's very important that we understand what they mean-as we are fighting to restore our own democracy- which happens to be under a fascist attack.
