In a round about way shee is saying because it wasn't a criminal court it wasn't really rape. My daughter was raped by a fellow employee, on the job. The DA refused to press charges because it was a he said she said and she didn't fight him. She sued him and her employer in civil court and won. Company went out of business so all she got was a judgement. But that made a big difference in her mental health. She was believed.
