Yes a hairpiece was used at the debate not an earpiece. This stupid old man is unable and unwilling to admit this. What most people do not know is that he sees himself without fault to such a degree that he refuses to wear one himself for same reasons except it would make him look as if it were an old man's hearing aid and that is why they don't feed him the answers. I don't think it matters much as even if fed the answers he would still go off page and start his tough guy routine like that other idiot hulk "the washed up" hogan. They give him drugs to keep him awake and alert before he debates her thinking this will help him. It does not. All it does is make a low IQ brain alert and ready. But as I said, low IQ. So no amount of anything such as coaching is going to help as he can not function due to this his greatest disadvantage.
