The slimes posted a poorly edited photo of Hillary's ear. It was the kind of trashy lie which appealed to the low-information RW voters.

By the way, I think there is evidence that 43 wore one when he debated John Kerry. I listened to some of Hannity the next day. He mentioned that 43 needed a haircut. Letting his hair grow longer could have been 43's design to hide the earpiece and its wire.
