The GQP will do nothing about banning guns from Mentally ill people. Trump immediately ended that blocking of gun ownership his first month after being appointed to President. The whole fucking lunatic MAGA base would have to give up guns. And that would mean lose votes. They would give mentally ill people two votes each, plus a free gun to elect them.
