2. A major retailer skimmed about $23 off a rewards card order

by not shipping the second half of it. I questioned the retailer, the rewards program company, the sponsor that put up the money. No one's responsible. The retailer promised to look into it within 15 days, and sent a denial within an hour with a form to appeal. I asked, where did my money go? do you have it, was it refunded? Silence. I assume someone inside the company walked home with the goods.

I shop in person, in relatively small batches, $25 to $50 each. I check every price, before I leave the store. I'm not picking up price fluctuations, not at large European owned regional grocer, not at Walmart, not at national franchise deep discount chain.

Car repair, this stuff is even worse.
