John Ashcroft races to the front of the pack in Week 1, based mainly
on his reputation as a racist, homophobic, gun-toting, fundamentalist
maniac. Not someone whom a lot of people would want as Attorney General.
Katherine Harris resurfaces after some time away from the front pages,
back in the spotlight as the investigation into voting irregularities
in Florida continues, with Jeb Bush close behind. Usual suspects fill
out the rest of the chart. Linda Chavez fades away into tenth place -
a true conservative idiot, politically sinking herself as the nominee
for Labor Secretary. We doubt she will return to the chart in the near
future.
