On Thursday night, the Associated Press named head coach Mike Vrabel the Coach of the Year and offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels took home assistant coach of the year honors. Vrabel beat out four other finalists to become the 14th coach all-time to win Coach of the Year two or more times, as New England's head coach also won the award as Titans head coach in the 2021 season. Vrabel is also the first Patriots coach to win the award since Bill Belichick in 2010.
Vrabel inherited a Patriots team that won a total of eight games combined in the two seasons before his arrival. This season, New England tied for the best record in the NFL at 14-3. The 10-win turnaround is tied for the biggest one-year improvement in NFL history, tying the 1999 Colts and 2008 Dolphins, who also had 10-win improvements from the prior season. The Patriots also became the first team in NFL history to go 9-0 on the road (including playoffs) and went from 29th in FTN Fantasy's DVOA metric last season to ninth in the 2025 season.

Amazingly, I thought he had only one, but - NO - he has TWO Purple Hearts! Of course, both were gifted to him by actual veterans. The only bullet (?) DD ever took was in Butler, PA.

At least we've been told it's a replica. For all we know, he had the true original shipped down there when it was supposedly being "restored", and the replica is sitting in the Oval.

At the rate man-baby is calling for the arrest of anyone and everyone who gets dust on his shoes, we're going to need more jails. Now it's the UN...arrest those who sabotaged his visit and dared to inconvenience and embarrass him. Duh - it's called "Life", Dude. Life happens. Just because he's been so sheltered and pampered for 79 years, anyone upsetting his day needs to be in the can. Besides, no-one could embarrass him more than he did so himself by that hour-long diatribe he presented to the world.

The man-baby whined himself through yet another rant* this morning at the UN to again embarrass not only himself but the entire U.S. If this moron thinks his begging/pleading for a Nobel is going to insure he takes home the prize, he's sicker than thought possible.
On October 10, a mere 17 days from today, the Nobel Peace Prize laureate(s) for 2025 will be announced. Dogshit's name has reportedly been submitted by five nominators. There are 338 candidates nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for 2025, of which 244 are individuals and 94 are organizations. We can take nothing for granted.
I put forth a plea to any and all those of us who are involved in marches and protests for the next two weekends to make "NO, NO NOBEL" a mantra which, hopefully, the Nobel Committee will see, respect, and thus understand that the majority of U.S. citizens DO NOT support the rise of donald j trump to the glory of Nobel recipient. Make your posters and signs: NO, NO NOBEL. It is our last chance to let our voice be heard in the matter.

Looking back, I know I would not have made it through the TFG years if I hadn't found this wonderful place to call "Home". It helped to retain my sanity when it seemed all those surrounding me had lost theirs.
It's been a very quick four years and I have probably spent way more time on DU than I ever anticipated, but for the most part, it's been a wonderful ride and time well used!
