(35,135 posts)This verdict is a major victory but so much wrongdoing occurred that sometimes it's hard to relax for a moment to enjoy a win. It doesn't feel like the threat is over, but I understand your point. We need to be balanced.

What they were put through by tfg and his minions was beyond cruel, and terrifying. They were terrorized. This is great news.

when the Proud Boys or Oath Keepers started showing up at their polling places and hanging over their shoulders, leaning in and watching while they took signatures from people in the precinct. Give your name, sign the book, receive your ballot, go into the booth normal procedure. But these large and aggrieved men were looming over the shoulders of small ladies in their 70s, volunteers doing their civic duty.
