MAGA targeting LA because of Gov. Newsom? Anything or anyone who disagrees or disobeys with Slobfather is a potential target?

Yes. We're there. It's a worry.

It sure seems like there are crazy people out there thinking starting fires is fun.
I don't know for certain that there are arsonists but I do have to wonder.

Colossal rents due to apartment/housing shortage.

Lowes and Home Depot in Southern Cal will make billions on reconstruction.

Looting of remaining belongings currently underway, will change soon to looting of building materials and construction equipment.

Road rage extraordinaire when the streets fill up with construction vehicles, traffic cones, stockpiled infrastructure replacement pipes, poles, clogging the already packed roadways.

Every damn time something horrible happens in CA a ton of assholes on YouTube take great joy in kicking us when we are down. They always say we deserve this, us "libruls".

Meanwhile, these same assholes are more than happy to take any aid available when they experience their own natural disaster, regardless of the source. They say "CA is a pussy state, Newsom is a joke and CA will burn into the ocean and good riddance". 100% hypocrites.

these bigmouths will get their just dues. I wonder how much blue states pay the bills vs. the red states? I know it's a big discrepancy between the two. And just watch, tRUMP in his first admin. tried to take out funds for blue states in bills that passed. Only funds for the blue states.

And yes I read a despicable comment from a nutcase who said he wished the whole state would burn down. He was so attacked he deleted his post !

I have relatives in that area. Although some are registered republicans, they are not maga cult members. But most of the younger ones are Democrats. I will not be surprised if we find out that some dick-drippings have intentionally set fires.

44 But I say to you, Love your enemies: do good to them that hate you: and pray for them that persecute and calumniate you: 45 That you may be the children of your Father who is in heaven, who maketh his sun to rise upon the good, and bad, and raineth upon the just and the unjust.

We are not fleeing for our lives or sheltered in place praying the rioting hordes don't eat our brains. The media is great at sensationalism. I am extremely tired already of explaining to my relatives how most of the LA basin is not currently on fire. I don't need to pack an emergence bag and leave it by the door. I live in a major Earthquake zone. I always have a bag packed waiting by the door. Always.

Here there is smoke. But wildfire smoke isn't new to the basin. This fire is huge, but in the last calendar year we have had the Wrightwood fire that affected some of my friends, the Running Springs fire that affected some of my friends . . . I know someone that lost a 9 million dollar home two days ago! Yipes.

Most of the basin is checking on affected friends to see if they have places to stay, collecting for charity, and has a general sense of calmness, not a sense of viral mean spirited anger and fear. This is not being display on TV, but is actually going on.
