(14,814 posts)Though I hadn't heard it was questioned. I'm reading 'One Way Out' by Alan Paul (about the Allman Brothers) & several people interviewed all said the same thing, including Jim Gordon, Bobby Whitlock who was supposed to have come back to do it & Tom Dowd who recorded & engineered it.
