Happy birthday, Steve Winwood! 74 today

I posted this video from 1967, a live performance in Finland, back in February in Music Appreciation -- https://democraticunderground.com/103470788 -- but I want to post it here in the Lounge for Steve's birthday... in part because it's the video featured in the Wings of Pegasus analysis video uploaded yesterday, which I'll post below.

Editing to add that although the analysis video gives Steve's age then as 17, he was 18. That performance was in February of 1967, according to what I was able to find on Google.

I really enjoy Fil's analyses of other artists. And he's pretty talented himself: highplainsdem May 2022 #5

Fascinating. I spent over an hour watching his analysis of different singers last night.

Steve Winwood has earned some.

Also, I enjoy Fil's infectious smile and illumination.

Thank you, hpd.

he's almost 20 years older than I am, but I still love him as an artist. His "Higher Love" album came out when I was madly in love with someone I was dating and I think I just will associate those feelings with his music forever.
