2. STARE is my starter word a each new day and

I'm always in the 90-100% bracket so I'm sticking with it. Sometimes I guess words that I don't even know are real words bit they fit through process of elimination. Then when it turns out it is a real word I am surprised. Yesterday's example was "waney". It turned out to be a real word. Sometimes I will look a word up in the dictionary and it isn't even in it but it is on a word game (I find this is the case for the other two Wordle copycat games I also play).

BREAK gave me --EAR because I figured there weren't any R-EA- words so it was either CLEAR, SHEAR or SMEAR. If CLEAR were wrong, I'd still have SHEAR and SMEAR to guess but either of those guesses, if wrong, gets me to one guess. So using an S-EAR word guaranteed a 3 at most.
