What happened to the Republican tenet of "personal responsibility"?
For as long as we have lived, we have been preached to by Republicans about "personal responsibility". You have to accept responsibility for your actions and your decisions. It's an American tradition.
But now, we have individuals that made the decision to follow a psychopathic liar and to go to Washington DC and interfere and interrupt the process of choosing a new President. They bought their tear gas, their bullet-proof vests, their masks, and all the paraphernalia they needed to impress their fellow travelers. So they made the decision to join the mob and to ransack and destroy our nation's Capitol and to threaten the lives of our elected representatives and senators.
Now, many of them are sitting in jail. They are asking for mercy and forgiveness. They did not really mean to betray our country and to harm or kill people. They were just caught up in the political excitement of the moment.
It is really difficult to feel any sympathy for these folks. Why can they not accept "personal responsibility" for their actions? They are adults and should have known what they were doing was wrong.
They committed crimes because they are criminals.
Boogie Woogie with Professor Longhair
Like the Energizer bunny, he just keeps on seditioning and seditioning...
...and lying and whining and dividing this country. When will he ever stop?
What he is doing is still criminal and continues every day.
It was always somebody else's fault...
If it wasn't the Post Office, it was the mail drop boxes.
If it wasn't something shady going on with the ballots being counted, they were "dropping" huge numbers of ballots to be counted, from out of nowhere.
It the Democrats were not rigging the process, the RINO's were not willing to count the votes fairly.
If the Republican Governors and Secretarys of State were not cheating to favor their Party, then the State Legislatures were unwilling to do the "right thing" and cheat.
If they did not have Courts ruling against them because they had no evidence, then the Supreme Court was slapping them down.
The Supreme Court just did not have the backbone or the courage to do the "right thing" they said.
It was always somebody else's fault that people refused to buy the lies and the conspiracy theories created by some dangerous, sick mind.
