calimary's JournalTruly. It's hard when you give your heart to a candidate and then watch her or him
failing to gain ground. I went through that when Jay Inslee dropped out. But I had to be practical and accept that the numbers just werent there for him. It takes strength and fortitude and feet both firmly on the ground, and a head not up in the clouds.
Amy always struck me as somebody eminently practical. Which, to me, is a virtue.
I think he would be. Mayor Pete has class.
Wouldnt it be great for him to endorse Biden too?
I'd expect him to do this time what he did when up against HRC.
I would love to be wrong. Seriously.
Wow! The way this is trending!
And if Bloomberg decides to put his money behind Biden, then thatll be some very muscular money coming into play.
Yep! Same here.
Indeed. Under the nails - oy. Keeping this. Good video.
I totally get that.
Im there myself, in age and attitude. Hoping Ill live to see a woman president. Since Hillary I find myself fighting a gnawing sense of discouragement about it. I find myself wondering if this will play out the same way women gaining the right to vote played out. Women had to wait. Black women had to wait another 50 years after their fathers, brothers, husbands and sons were able to vote before they could, too.
I find myself wondering how many other non-white-male voting groups will get a president who looks like them, before we women achieve that level of equality. Thats probably the last hurdle to be cleared. Well likely have a gay (male) president, a Latino president, a Jewish (male) president, before we see a female president. I hope Im wrong.
