Rock-hound from pre-school age. Proud Democrat for life. Ardent environmentalist and pro-choicer. Hoping to use my skills set for the greater good. Still married to the same guy for 40+ years. Probably because he's a proud Democrat, too. Penmanship absolutely stinks, so I'm glad I'm a fast typist! I will always love Hillary and she will always be my President.

Ah, well, y'know...

One might say she was "everybody's 'girl'." A genuine "America's Sweetheart."

I worked in entertainment coverage for years. Never heard a single word about her that wasn't complimentary at the least, and almost literally adoring at the most.

I interviewed her in her dressing room at one point, and she had a big jar of gummy bears close at hand. She grabbed a fistful and invited me to do the same. Sharing gummy bears with Betty White!

Sheesh. No kidding. A doubly awful day for you.

In a way, you’ve given us something ELSE to think about on January 6th. Triple - if you also count what went on in Washington DC. As this old news junkie inevitably watches the news coverage of this upcoming January 6th and all that makes it newsworthy, I’ll also be thinking of you - and the two of them, reunited in Heaven on the same day.

Yep. Been there, done that. Grab the pets and some pet food and your already-packed "away bag", and go.

It's actually a good reminder for right now. Is EVERYBODY equipped with some sort of "away bag"? Better to put one together now while you have "presence of mind" because there's NO emergency breathing down your neck. Another reason why we don't have outdoor cats. If they're insiders, they're easier to round up and evacuate with.
