The QANON gang regroups!

The US military government will take control (by force) of ALL of the official media (radio, television, newspapers) on Friday February 5 at 6.30 p.m. EST (11 p.m. GMT or midnight in France) exactly on all American territory.

This includes taking control of all American channels on direct broadcast satellites broadcasting in France and Europe. This also means that all French and Europeans with a satellite reception antenna receiving American channels can no longer be censored and will therefore learn the truth from Friday evening.

Among other things, the American army will broadcast by force on all these American mass media the revelations on Biden’s coup d’état, on his arrest with elected officials on Sunday January 24 and Monday January 25 …

GameStop mania may not have been the retail trader rebellion it was perceived to be, data shows

CNBC

A look at the 10 most-purchased stocks by retail traders during the market mania last month is missing one key stock: GameStop.

AMC Entertainment and Plug Power, two names caught up in the trading frenzy along with GameStop, were popular buys among retail investors, JPMorgan found, yet the brick-and-mortar video game retailer that seemingly put Wall Street on its heels is notably absent from the list.

The prevailing narrative was that a band of Reddit-inspired small traders rose up against Wall Street by buying GameStop en masse, forcing a short squeeze by professional hedge fund managers, who were forced to cover their negative bets or risk catastrophic losses.

But several signs are pointing to institutional investors as big drivers of the wild price action on the way up.

Rep. Greene refuses to renounce 'death' to Pelosi rant, says she's 'not sorry' for harassing

Source: New York Daily News

Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene refused to apologize Friday for her history of advocating violence against Democratic leaders and said she’s also “not sorry” for harassing a teenage school shooting survivor a few years ago.
The beleaguered Republican congresswoman struck the remorseless tone at a press conference she called outside the U.S. Capitol to sound off on the House removing her from the education and budget committees Thursday in rebuke of her embrace of violent conspiracy theories.

Asked repeatedly if she still stands by her claim that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) deserves “death” for committing “treason,” Greene refused to answer and instead sought to change the subject.
“Did you see my speech yesterday?” Greene fumed at a reporter, referring to floor remarks Thursday, in which she offered a vague apology for “words of the past” without addressing any of her specific calls for violence.

Sen. Warner to unveil bill reining in Section 230

Source: Washington Post

Sen. Mark R. Warner is set to introduce a bill that could hold Facebook, Google and other tech giants more directly accountable when viral posts and videos result in real-world harm.

The measure is dubbed the Safe Tech Act, and it marks the latest salvo from congressional lawmakers against Section 230. The decades-old federal rules help facilitate free expression online, but Democrats including Warner (Va.) say they also allow the most profitable tech companies to skirt responsibility for hate speech, election disinformation and other dangerous content spreading across the Web.

The senator’s proposal preserves the thrust of Section 230, which generally spares a wide array of website operators from being held liable for what their users say. Instead, it opens an easier legal pathway for Web users to seek court orders and file lawsuits if posts, photos and videos — and the tech industry’s refusal to police them — threaten them personally with abuse, discrimination, harassment, the loss of life or other irreparable harm.

“How can we continue to give this get-out-of-jail card to these platforms that constantly do nothing to address the foreseeable, obvious and repeated misuse of their products and services to cause harm? That was kind of our operating premise,” Warner said.

Schumer, White House at odds over how to cancel student loan debt

Politico

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and the White House are divided over how to move forward in the coming months on a key progressive priority: canceling large swaths of the outstanding $1.5 trillion of federal student loan debt.

The conflict forecasts a looming fight over student loan forgiveness that could be a major test of how far progressives can push President Joe Biden, who has sought to cast himself as a bipartisan dealmaker and unifier.

Biden advisers have repeatedly said they prefer to seek congressional approval to forgive at least $10,000 of debt per borrower, a campaign promise. But Schumer is ramping up efforts to convince the White House to move more quickly and cancel $50,000 of student loan debt per borrower “with the flick of a pen” through executive action.

That pressure from the top Senate leader from Biden’s own party appeared to draw a response from the White House on Thursday. A spokesperson said for the first time that administration officials were entertaining the possibility of executive action on the issue but also reiterated their goal of passing legislation.

What Does This Man Know That Other Democrats Don't?

The Atlantic

Governor Roy Cooper doesn’t know why he keeps winning in North Carolina while other Democrats keep losing.

“I wish there was a secret that I could tell you,” he told me a few weeks ago on a Zoom call from the governor’s mansion. “I’m not sure that there is. If I had the secret, I’d be out there holding seminars.”

In 2016, North Carolina Democrats went into Election Day thinking they could sweep the competitive races for president, Senate, and governor. Only Cooper won. In 2020, the dynamic was the same: three marquee races, and only Cooper pulled it off. Ever since Barack Obama carried the state in 2008, Democrats have predicted that North Carolina will be the next Virginia—that it will rapidly turn blue like its neighbor because of changing demographics, including an influx of college-educated voters to the Research Triangle. But at least in terms of election results, North Carolina is still a red state—it just has a Cooper-blue blotch on its record.

Figuring out why Cooper keeps winning could have potentially huge implications for determining whether he’s a fluke or a model for Democrats across the South and in other red states. Cooper’s races never became national Democratic causes. He has set no major fundraising records. He’s not an otherworldly political talent. And yet his success is already a source of chatter among some political obsessives gaming out the 2024 presidential ticket. Cooper, they told me, could offer a compelling balance to Vice President Kamala Harris as the white male Democratic governor of an important swing state. (Allies of President Joe Biden say he’ll run for a second term, but he’ll be 82 years old by then.)

Oh dear, Michael Flynn just blew up the "Q" narrative...

In an interview today with a RW YouTuber, he stated that:

Trump didn't sign the Insurrection Act...

The Military isn't secretly running the Country...

There's no "plan"...

"We have to accept the situation as we have it"...

Flynn had been envisioned by the QANON gang as integral to Trump's return hoped-for return; many adherents believed Trump was going to name him as VP.

The faithful are going to have to move the goalposts again.

Unclaimed COVID vax appointments at Yankee Stadium

Thousands of COVID vaccination slots still unclaimed at Yankee Stadium

The mass vaccination site set to open at Yankee Stadium still has thousands of open timeslots for appointments, City Councilman Mark Levine noted Thursday afternoon, as he questioned whether New York has conducted enough outreach to drum up interest in the shots.

The inoculation hub — which is strictly reserved for residents of The Bronx, the city’s hardest-hit borough of late — will finally host opening day on Friday, following delays due to severe shot shortages.

But early sign-ups since the opening was announced Wednesday haven’t exactly been a home run, observed Levine, a Manhattan Democrat who chairs the council’s health committee.

“There are still 1000s of vaccine appts available at Yankee stadium next week. They are not disappearing fast,” Levine tweeted Thursday afternoon, along with a screenshot showing wide-open slots on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
