That was a gut punch.

It needs to be played everywhere. It's hard to sit through but it needs to get wide play so that everyone, especially the idiot astroturfers, will see it... and hear it.

Wow.

Replay time stamp for Cuomo's comments on Mitch are at about the 48:30 mark.

Thanks for posting a link to the vid, Yavin!

Starts with: We need money for police and fire and teachers and schools and other health emergency people. How do you not fund these things in the middle of a pandemic? If you don't fund the state, the state can't fund these services. How can states plan to reopen when they can't fund these basic services? How can you talk about national economic recovery while telling states to declare bankruptcy?

Then he blasts the partisanship and pettiness of senators (Mitch) saying not to fund blue states. Go listen - his comments are so amazing. He manages to rip Mitch a new one and be uniter not a divider at the same time.

It's really well done.

I agree with you about trump and hydroxychloroquine, but I blame media

just as much for not pushing harder on questions to him as well as to people actually qualified to comment.

I blame them for not pointing out as you do that he was completely unqualified and his hype was absolutely unethical. News media and journalists could have and should have pushed back harder, and they didn't.

It never ends, does it?

This family is way too good at grifting to be accused of incompetence anywhere else. If you wonder how trump manages to bungle Covid-19 so badly, realize it is NOT bungled. All of this is deliberate.

*sigh*

Damn.

It didn't have to happen. This level of hell and death did not have to happen.

Two weeks. Just two fucking weeks could have made such a huge difference.

The hamstrung CDC was deliberate, the sidelining and silencing of scientific information sources is deliberate, the delay in national public response was deliberate, the lack of PPEs and other supplies is deliberate, the profiteering is blatant and deliberate, the uselessly low level of testing is deliberate, the astroturfed 'protests' are deliberate, the lies upon lies are deliberate. The blowback is global now. Instead of continuing to allow him to dance on the world stage like a smug sociopath, when is someone finally going to charge the man responsible for crimes against humanity?

Had the CDC still been in China and had the pandemic team been available,

it would never have gotten this bad. Needy Amin deserves a lot of the blame for the global suffering that will be unleashed because of this pandemic.

Still have to be symptomatic and referred by a physician to get in line for a test.

There are not enough tests in GA or anywhere, not nearly enough to even think about getting a handle on when to start easing restrictions. It was stupid of Kemp to pretend that his plan to reopen certain close-contact businesses was a good idea.

Notice we're all talking about his tweets and not about his failures.

Day after day he comes up with another distraction technique to stir outrage and shift attention away from himself and his inability to govern. He's willing to do anything right now to change the focus from his complete failure to deal with the crisis.

Anything.
