Wow, Stefanik and Nunes are not going by the rules

and Schiff is not having it. Only Nunes and counsel are allowed to question now; other reps only get 5 minute intervals later. I guess they were trying to get her to do it, since their lawyer is so at sea.

Nope!

Good grief. 2nd tweet is horrifying,

even with the sound off (because I just cannot listen to him.) The low bar is digging its way to to the molten center of the Earth. Isn't threatening someone's life this way a crime in itself?

On the same page.

Sending quiet support along to your Marine friend. What the country is going through right now is difficult and painful for everyone who's paying any attention, but for the military it can cut deep on another level.

Pompeo is now being called out on MSNBC

Being called a coward, that his silence is deafening and disgusting. Asked about complicity, said that is to be determined down the road, but his is a complete failure of leadership. Again, coward.

Strong words. I don't know the name of the man who was speaking. Can anybody tell me who that was?

eta I see that was likely Chuck Rosenberg. He was great, very solemn but obviously furious.

"How did our president jump the wall and get on the other side, attacking Americans..."

Tweety is MAD. He is on a roll. I don't usually care to listen to him, but today he is on point.

What a waste of talent to throw her out like that.

It obviously hurt her personally and professionally. She also genuinely cared about the people she served in Ukraine as well as the US, and cared about how US foreign policy is being undermined. You can't buy that or teach that. It's a calling, and tossing it aside is destructive and stupid.

Yovanovitch is obviously nervous (understandably) but

is doing a wonderful job of laying out her background and the scenario she faced, answering a lot of the questions about both Bidens right off the bat. She also managed to discuss Giuliani and the people in the background who had business reasons for wanting her gone. Good for her.

Elise Stefanik

Here's the woman being such a rude buttinski along with Nunes & co.

eta It looks like somebody has embellished her wikipedia page slightly. It wasn't me, but it is accurate!

Thanks for this!

I was thinking David Holmes (and perhaps Jayanti) might also be scheduled tomorrow, but apparently Holmes' questioning will not be public. Yet. No word on when Jayanti will appear.

AP source: Second US official in Kyiv heard Trump call

The second diplomatic staffer also at the table was Suriya Jayanti, a foreign service officer based in Kyiv. A person briefed on what Jayanti overheard spoke to AP on condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive matter currently under investigation. [snip]

The staffer Taylor testified about is David Holmes, the political counselor at the embassy in Kyiv, according to an official familiar with the matter who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Holmes is scheduled to testify Friday before House investigators in a closed session.
