Speaking of renaming things, there's an airport in D.C.

that I’d like to have its name reverted to its original name.

And I will never call it anything but Washington National Airport.

Officer Remy helps find nonverbal boy with autism after he goes missing in Roanoke Co.

Good girl!

“ROANOKE Co., Va. (WSET) -- A missing Roanoke County boy is safe thanks to a K-9 officer with the Roanoke County Police Department.

“Roanoke County Police said they responded to a call that a non-verbal boy with autism climbed out of his window and had been wandering in the woods near his home on Mt. Chestnut Road.

“Within 12 minutes of searching, officers said Remy's ears perked up, giving the signal that the boy was in the area.

“When officers turned around, they said they saw the boy just 15 feet away.”

HOW did the Trump campaign get an email address that I do not use

except to sign into Facebook? No one but me even knows about this email address.

Stupid question, does Facebook sell users' email addresses? By the way, only the Trump campaign has sent emails to this address - not any Democratic campaign.

Updated - Reuters: New coronavirus losing potency, top Italian doctor says

Updated/ disputed from WHO (Washington Post):

ROME (Reuters) - The new coronavirus is losing its potency and has become much less lethal, a senior Italian doctor said on Sunday.

“In reality, the virus clinically no longer exists in Italy,” said Alberto Zangrillo, the head of the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan in the northern region of Lombardy, which has borne the brunt of Italy’s coronavirus contagion.

“The swabs that were performed over the last 10 days showed a viral load in quantitative terms that was absolutely infinitesimal compared to the ones carried out a month or two months ago,” he told RAI television.

Italy has the third highest death toll in the world from COVID-19, with 33,415 people dying since the outbreak came to light on Feb. 21. It has the sixth highest global tally of cases at 233,019.

Keisha Lance Bottoms speech yesterday imploring Atlanta to stop destruction.

Update: NEGATIVE I was just tested for Covid-19 - and the dreaded nasal swab did NOT appear!

I think I'm actually okay, but I went through Virginia's new symptom checker because I have a persistent cough, runny nose, and my sinuses are killing me. I went to the doctor about 3 weeks ago because I was having trouble breathing, but thought (and doctor agreed) it was allergy related.

Anyway, I'm supposed to have surgery June 5 to repair a busted septum (fell on my face right before Thanksgiving) and I was due to be tested anyway prior to surgery. It can take up to 5-7 days for a result. I'll call the ENT tomorrow to see if they want to wait or go ahead with their own testing.

The test was similar to a strep test - she just swabbed my throat. I'm supposed to lay low now at home, which I've been doing pretty much anyway.

Sorry for yet another post, but did I read that Tara Reade accused others of assault?

I thought I had read it and cannot find any info.

I did read that she stole from an animal non-profit, but I was under the impression she has made other false allegations.

Thank you.

I'm trying to think clearly, and am acutely aware that this dilemma is insignificant these days,

but our daughter was supposed to be married on June 13 in Virginia. They have been planning this since last June.

The governor has targeted a June 10 as the “back to work/normal” day of sorts, though that can and might change.

I honestly think it’s cutting it too close to continue to plan for a wedding and reception on June 13. I think most people, rightly so, will decline to travel to a wedding and there is no way of knowing what we will still be dealing with in terms of safely and the continued need for social distancing. Plus, the invitations would have to go out soon and if the wedding has to be called off, that’ll get tricky.

They will still be married on June 13 by either the pastor or SOMEONE, but the reception is the sticking point.

Thoughts?

"Trump Time" - I could cry.

At the presser, the Peter Navarro has said things are being done in "Trump Time" - which evidently means "as fast as possible." He is Don the Con's latest, bestest fluffer.

Has anyone else seen a huge reduction in spam phone calls?

We have two cell phones and a landline, and were subjected to many calls per day - car warranties, Medicare programs, credit card "issues," etc. I can't remember the last time we got a call from a scammer. You?
