covering for a fourth of the time they spend trashing Biden.
Inflation fell in June
Over past 6 months CPI at Fed target rate of 2%
Interest rate cut more likely now
Joe Biden is a good President. The country is better off.
This statement is completely true and newsworthy. I got it from Simon Rosenberg who went on to say that we will win this election.
Is there a reason we can't hear about this and I don't know, maybe even give Joe credit? Yeah, I know.....crazy talk.
Can we please listen to Barbara Boxer this time?
In 2016, she said that Hillary's e-mails were a nothingburger. She was 100% correct. But her comment was received with very mixed reviews here on DU at the time. I have a clear memory of posters lambasting her for not taking it seriously enough, trying to whitewash, etc.
Just now she was on MSNBC and said that there is nothing wrong with Joe Biden being a little soft spoken and that the old one is cheato who talks about sharks and electricity, etc. She kind of challenged Jansing to cover that more, but Jansing wasn't having any of it and claimed she covered that a lot. 
She called out the press and the party for "piling on" and said that the base is going to rise up. But will it?
Barbara Boxer is right just like she was right in 2016 about the e-mails. And it seems we have learned nothing since.
Would it kill these Dems who have to go public with their concerns
to at least be a little strategic about it? Use it to go after cheato. I mean, really go after him. Say things like I would never say this about a successful President like Biden if I didn't KNOW that trump will end our country. Or I am desperate to keep this madman out of the WH so I have to think of that first and foremost. Every sentence they utter about their "reservations" should be framed as a slam against
cheato.
Of course, I wish they wouldn't do it at all, but this wailing and whining and gnashing of teeth just makes us look weak. Seriously, what do they think they're doing?
"They're going to come in hot"
That's how Hans Nicholls, a journalist speaking on MSNBC yesterday, said the WH press corps was going to "come in" to cover Biden's live press conference coming up. Since the corporate media has set this as the next hurdle Biden must clear (until they move the goal post again), I thought this was significant.
He explained that it was because the WH press corps feels "misled" (he gave no evidence of this at all of course) and admitted that they might be trying to create a "moment." Ya think?
So be forewarned. When the press conference occurs, it will be "hot', angry, resentful, rude, unhinged. Then it will be torn apart no matter how well Joe does.
That's what we're up against.
Okay, not liking the sound of this
Chris Hayes has made some good points about Biden doing nothing wrong, etc. but he said at one point that he thinks (he was speaking for himself) that Biden is increasingly likely to lose.
I think MSNBC may have gotten the message
Ari's show was pretty good, with lots of emphasis on the danger cheato poses, and Joy is starting off very strong too!
Who agrees with this?

I do. I might just change main stream media to corporate media, but otherwise, absolutely!

He's covering Project 2025 and cheato's plans to take over the federal government. No Biden bashing so far.
Biden will sit for live interview with Lester Holt on Monday
Saw his name trending on twitter, and that is the reason. Some are reminding him/us that back in 2021 Lester said the press has no obligation to cover both sides when one side is lying. Think Lester is still down with that? Guess we'll find out.
Taking stock
We can ruminate and discuss endlessly (and that's fine, really) but the bottom line is: Billionaire elites want tax cuts and they control the news. They literally own the media. So they are doing everything in their power to hand the election to cheato.
Because they own the media, it is now almost 100% propaganda. A tiny minority of Dems are swept up in this out of fear and because the media is propaganda their voices are amplified. If a liberal celebrity expresses concern, they are guaranteed coverage The many liberal celebrities who are still supporting Biden are ignored.
How do we fight billionaires and the corporate owned media? That is really the question. I am all for boycotting them and will only watch Lawrence O'Donnell for now. But that is not enough. Every day that this goes on, more low information and undecided voters are influenced by their BS.
It's a serious problem, but it is a phony, manufactured problem devised to give even more money to the least deserving.
