senseandsensibility's JournalGood little lap dogs
The corporate media is outdoing themselves already today. Of course it's not a surprise in any way but disgusting just the same. From Dasha Burns very seriously quoting the cheato campaign as calling for a kinder, gentler campaign with absolutely no pushback and interviewing attendees at the convention very solemnly saying that there is no call for violence on any side, the credulity is off the charts.
No talk of gun control. No talk of the violent rhetoric of R's including cheato leading up to today, and most importantly, no mention of the complete lack of it on the D side. No talk of Biden's presidential calls for no violence since the shooting. No talk of high-level R's who did not hesitate to immediately blame Biden with no evidence after the registered republican shot up the rally.
But just the IDEA that cheato MIGHT call for nonviolence has them falling all over themselves to give him the benefit of the doubt. It is really embarrassing. Clue: His lips will be moving. He will be lying. His disingenuous calls for peace will be a lie and will not in any way excuse the last eight years.
TFG says he was hit by a bullet
Posted on TS just now. Says he felt it pierce his ear.
Biden speaking live on NBC said he tried to call "Donald"
So far it appears trump is doing well, and he hopes to speak to TFG tonight. He condemned the violence. Class act, of course.
LIVE TRUMP INJURED!!
Injured at his rally! Saw footage of him bleeding. He was hit by something and reacted, then was rushed off by the SS.
Jonathan Capeheart is giving a great defense of Biden live on MSNBC
If you get a chance watch it. He really gets to the point and it's very refreshing.
Thank you for supporting Joe, Bernie Sanders and AOC!
Obviously, Bernie has some policy differences with Joe, but he knows what is important here. He is putting all that aside and endorsing President Biden with all his heart. He is denouncing cheato in very clear terms and explaining why we can't take any chances on the felon winning.
Whether you always agree with Bernie or not, his help is very welcome now. He has followers among progressive Dems and Independents who will listen to him.
AOC is also looking at the big picture and putting differences aside for the sake of the country. Her voice will resonate with young progressives .
I look forward to seeing them campaigning for us throughout election (hope they have prominent roles at the convention!) and becoming more visible on offense against cheato.
So Republican convention is shaping up to be a normal affair
![](/emoticons/rofl.gif)
The days of the RNC tacking toward the center at their convention are long gone. They no longer even pretend to be normal. But, if history is a guide, the corporate media will insist on treating it like a normal event and cheato like a normal candidate.
It is so important that the Dems go into this united and go on offense against the crazy! There will an infinite amount of material to hit them with that's for sure.
Very funny line from Ron Filipkowski just now
He thanked the media for covering Biden's rally hoping for a major gaffe, and then said "the coverage is all we cared about."
He must have seen CNN's webpage where they do everything they can to make it seem like the rally was a negative.
So on CNN's webpage there is a picture of Biden live at the MI rally
He is frowning and looking down. The headline says that he is calling out those in his party. The crowd is not pictured, or very vaguely. It doesn't look energetic or positive. No mentions of his takedowns of cheato.
Right underneath is the story about him getting the VP's name wrong twenty four hours ago. Still running that into the ground.
Did they think we would just roll over and take it?
Did the corporate media and the Dems who freaked out about a bad debate (not actual policies) think they could just bully us into going along with chasing a successful President out of the race? With no plan for what is supposed to happen afterwards?
Actually, both groups are so out of touch that the answer is yes. They thought nothing of disenfranchising and bullying us just like they are doing to Joe.
Today I saw some realization of that on the part of some of the "progressive' media that they know they overplayed their hands. But, remember, it is up to us to make noise in various ways, so they don't "forget" again!
We are the "base" of the Democratic Party. We've been invisible for too long.
