Safe space for Glen Younkin or whatever his name is on Erin' show. They've been pushing it all day. WILL HE RUN FOR PRESIDENT??!!! OMG, the drama and suspense. I guess the infomercial (townhall) Tapper did with him a few months ago wasn't enough. America is screaming for more GY!!
Instead I'll be watching Joy Reid rip apart Tuckims.
So today MTG accused Swalwell of sleeping with
a spy during a hearing. No evidence of course. But also Nancy Mace released a video where she accused Biden of being involved in a prostitution ring. And she's supposedly "reasonable." "Journalists" like Andrea Mitchell and Katy Tur have her on so she can rehabilitate herself by making unchallenged moderate noises.
I know this is a dumb question, but how do they get away with it, and isn't it time we started fighting back?
Why is there so little info being released about the two latest shootings?
Not even whether the shooter is at large (the 16th birthday party one) or when there will be a news conference? I hope these shootings are not another sign of how numb we've become or maybe they're not being pursued as aggressively because they involve people of color?

I accidentally flipped to CNN's State of the Union when Jake "Safe Harbor for Republicans" Tapper was interviewing Brian Kemp. In his unseemly and gringy effort to attract more R's to his show, (because god knows that's what the viewers want, right?), he has been lobbing softballs to them, going so far as to wipe the trademark sneer from his face, and even eliminating his constant interrupting.
So as he politely asked Kemp several questions and waited while Kemp ran out the clock, I knew he would not challenge him in any way. What I didn't expect was when Kemp came to the end of his word salad on gun control, Tapper helpfully finished the argument for him. saying that most murders are not committed by rifles but handguns. He did not challenge one thing Kemp said. Not one.
I only continued to watch to see if he would push back even a little. Now I know the answer.
In case you were worried about Bill Barr
don't be. He currently on CNN holding forth about the 21 year old alleged leaker. He will have no trouble sanitizing his reputation if CNN has anything to do with it. They are literally rehabilitating him no questions asked.
Does anyone know when the vote in TN will be?
The headline on MSNBC keeps saying that the vote is "soon." But they've been saying that for hours. Also, I'd like to hear the protesters and the debate instead of some of the lame commentary

That was the reason Rachel gave for MSNBC not covering the fg's speech live. And of course, CNN is covering the whole thing live. Wonder if CNN will even do any fact checking when it's over.
It sure was right friendly of Garrett Haeke
or whatever his name is (of MSNBC) to let MTG run her mouth in her SUV when the protestors stopped her from lying at her permitless protest. The media must hear from her at all costs with no pushback it seems.
Here's an idea: Since there are more anti rump protesstors, maybe one of them could be interviewed? I know, that's crazy talk.

An absolutely perfect word for what the media is doing to themselves today. Really, a black eye for the press today.
I will phrase this in the form of a humble suggestion
instead of a patronizing order such as I receive here every time I post criticism of the media's coverage of tfg. Please don't watch this over the top, breathless fan coverage of the orange one's motorcade. You can if you wish, of course, but to me this right up there with covering the empty microphone for hours waiting for the orange one to appear in 2016. Let's make their ratings go down.
If we reward this, can you imagine what their coverage of 2024 will be like? They have learned absolutely nothing.
