Trump Orders Help For Chinese Phone-Maker After China Approves Money For Trump Project

Trump is paying off China for support for one of his projects. Trump is corrupt as heck https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/trump-china-zte_us_5af9f701e4b0200bcab7fa66?ncid=tweetlnkushpmg00000016§ion=politics

A mere 72 hours after the Chinese government agreed to put a half-billion dollars into an Indonesian project that will personally enrich Donald Trump, the president ordered a bailout for a Chinese-government-owned cellphone maker.

“President Xi of China, and I, are working together to give massive Chinese phone company, ZTE, a way to get back into business, fast,” Trump announced on Twitter Sunday morning. “Too many jobs in China lost. Commerce Department has been instructed to get it done!”

Trump did not mention in that tweet or its follow-ups that on Thursday, the developer of a theme park resort outside of Jakarta had signed a deal to receive as much as $500 million in Chinese government loans, as well as another $500 million from Chinese banks. Trump’s family business, the Trump Organization, has a deal to license the Trump name to the resort, which includes a golf course and hotels.

Trump, despite his promises to do so during the campaign, has not divested himself of his businesses, and continues to profit from them.

Yale Student Is Demanding The White Woman Who Called The Police On Her Be Expelled

There need to be some consequences https://newsone.com/3798939/lolade-siyonbola-sarah-braasch-yale-expelled/#.WvoE_8zuMY8.twitter

On Monday, May 7, White Yale graduate student Sarah Braasch called the cops on Lolade Siyonbola, who will graduate in 2019, for napping in a dorm common room, the Yale Daily News reported. Officers questioned Siyonbola for 15 minutes, claiming that they couldn’t verify she was a student, an encounter which she recorded and posted on Facebook. Though Yale President Peter Salovey denounced Braasch’s actions, she maintains she had the right to alert the police.

There has been national outrage over the incident and now Siyonbola, 28, is calling for Braasch, 43, to be expelled. In an interview with Good Morning America, she said, “Someone who uses the police in the way that Sarah uses it should be held accountable.” Braasch reportedly called the cops on another Black student a few months ago. Siyonbola continued, “Whether that’s expulsion [or] some other form of disciplinary action, there needs to be some punitive measures for people who act out of racially motivated bias.”

She also told the morning show, “I have always said to myself since Sandra Bland was killed, I said to myself if I ever have an encounter with police I’ll film myself.” Sandra Bland died in police custody in 2015 in Texas, and her family maintains it was not a suicide.

Braasch absolutely needs to be punished. While it is good that Yale President Peter Salovey spoke out, Braasch needs to be a clear example that this behavior is unacceptable. Anything less than that would be condoning her clear racism

Trump Explains That Lifting Sanctions on Huge Chinese Company Is OK Because It's Just a Personal Fav

Trump Explains That Lifting Sanctions on Huge Chinese Company Is OK Because It’s Just a Personal Favor for China’s President https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2018/05/trump-favor-for-iran-linked-chinese-company-is-just.html

The first claim in Trump’s statement—that ZTE buys parts from American companies—is true.

The second—that his concern about the sanctions on ZTE is related to wider trade talks with China—contradicts what his own commerce secretary said earlier Monday.

The third—which implies that smoothing out the personal vibes between Trump and a foreign leader is a valid goal of U.S. foreign and economic policy—is just weird, particularly given how often Trump has complained in the past about China’s leaders browbeating America’s into bad deals!

Biden Rage May Lead to Fight With Trump in 2020 Race

I would love to see Biden take on trump https://www.politicususa.com/2018/05/14/biden-rage-may-lead-to-fight-with-trump-in-2020-race.html

Joe Biden is spoiling for a fight, and the opponent he wants to face is none other than Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America.

Biden is outraged at Trump’s behavior on every level, and the former Vice President is not the kind of man who hides his emotions very well.

After a White House aid last week made a comment about John McCain saying “he’s dying anyway”, the 75-year-old Democrat appeared shocked and gave his opinion that decency in the administration had finally hit “rock bottom”.

“People have wondered when decency would hit rock bottom with this administration. It happened yesterday. … Given this White House’s trail of disrespect towards John and others, this staffer is not the exception to the rule, she is the epitome of it,” Biden said in a statement.
