"Nobody on the road, Nobody on the beach"

Nobody on the road
Nobody on the beach
It's floating in the air
A virus out of reach

Empty lake, empty streets
The sun goes down alone
A White House failing
And it's clear we're all hurting

I can see you
Your orange skin shining in the sun
You got your hair slicked back
Mocking life with blinders on

I can tell you
This nation's pain will still live on
Long after the stain of Trump's power is gone

Yet more stunning tweets from Michael Moore

Showing that he is a good man who has been disparaged inappropriately... I'd love to hear from some folks...

Trump's comment that Hillary's "heart is filled with hate" was one of his biggest lies. Say what u will, I think her heart is full of love.

Is anyone else depressed by this tonight. Trump is a sick fuck. I could use stronger language but won't.

Agree w/ Van Jones: Never has a candidate threatened to jail his opponent. This happens in dictatorships. Scariest man ever to run for WH.

Keith Olbermann Eviscerates "demonic messiah" Trump

He’s back: Keith Olbermann’s premiere episode absolutely eviscerates ‘demonic messiah’ Donald Trump
David Edwards/Raw Story
13 SEP 2016 AT 10:13 ET

In the first episode of his new GQ web show, Keith Olbermann recalled “the most outrageous of Donald Trump’s offenses in what is now his 15-month assault on American democracy.”

“Every few generations we Americans are called upon to defend our country,” Olbermann begins.

After calling Trump a “demonic messiah in Oompa Loompa’s clothing,” Olbermann spends the next 15 minutes recounting what he claims are the 176 most egregious things Trumps had done since his campaign began last year.

The Fascist Candidate - Its No Joke, Donald Trump Represents And Incites The Deplorables

There's no stopping those who are attracted to a fascist leader from being excited by Trump's loud and quarrelsome candidacy. Trump says things weekly that have ended many other candidates hopes of getting in the White House, but his being a TV celebrity has kept him in the hunt for the White House thanks to his fame and well-known obnoxious twitter insults.

Those who support him seem to like that he really doesn't have any complex solutions to anything, just repeated claims of "I'll Fix It" and "It'll Be Great" comments. They're quite literally proud to be headed to 'hell in a hand basket' by him and if asked by Trump at a rally if there were any deplorables at his rallies, they'd cheer mightily like Roger Stone is already stating.

This obsession over Trump is why we hear story after story of Democratic Party supporters stating they've had property vandalized, stolen, been threatened at the Democratic Party booths at a county fair in Ohio, and even one victimized family says their dog was killed by Trump supporters after repeated attacks on their house.

There's several reasons why he has been making so many vile statements, he doesn't want the voters to know he doesn't support fair labor practices, is anti-union and against fair pay for workers. His behavior is repeatedly more outlandish than anything Hillary's ever said, such as calling POW's losers (imagine the anger if Hillary said she liked US military vets who weren't captured), and going after parents who lost their hero son with fervor while claiming he's sacrificed much.

But, the most scary reason for his daily distractions is the fact he isn't remotely qualified to be president. Newt even said he hoped Trump would learn some "new skills" - sorry, the presidency is not the place for a guy who needs to learn foreign policy and how not to insult people at every turn with foul comments.

He is everything a good-hearted American should be offended by and we should get everyone we know registered to vote. Hearing him called "Mr President" would be the least of our frustrations.

The first Nationwide study from the CDC on the health risks faced by LGBTQ youth is horrifying

This breaks my heart... You know how It's hard for many to trust their employer not to be against them for being gay, so I am sure these "out" or "perceived gay" high school kids are in such hell from their tormenters, because a good third or more of people are still heavily anti-gay and so they say around half don't feel they can report the abuse or assaults to school support or the cops. There's got to be more we can do that changes how other teens treat others different than themselves, especially those who are LGBTQ.

So, fresh off the summer report from the National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs (NCAVP) that said 20-25% of all LGBTQ people will face at least one Hate Crime (that just makes me sick...) in our lives, there is an even more infuriating intensive first time study of High School LGBTQ students, completed by the CDC.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Business Insider

LGBT high schoolers are three times more likely to have been raped than their straight classmates, according to the first nationwide study on the health risks faced by queer youth.

The new Centers for Disease Control study, which asked high school students about their sexuality, found that gay, lesbian and bisexual teens are at far greater risk for physical and sexual violence, bullying, suicide, and other threats to their health than their straight peers.

While it is known that LGBT teens live a harder life because of pressures from parents and peers, previous studies have found LGBT youth are more likely to attempt suicide, to be homeless, and to use drugs.

Dr. Jonathan Mermin with the CDC told United Press International the report is “alarming” and “heartbreaking.”

There are loads of statistics in the report highlighted in the CDC Study news story above. Things like 40% of them saying they considered suicide, and 60% saying they feel sad or hopeless, and being 2 times more likely to be victims of violent assault at school, and 4 times more likely to take hard drugs to cope with the stress... It's making me emotional again just thinking about how much pain the million plus LGBTQ high schoolers are suffering right now. Damn bigots need to be stopped at schools!

Crisis over debt limit is from the man who cheated on his wives because he "loves America so much"

From the article: "How to Solve the Debt-Ceiling Crisis Forever" by Joshua Green http://www.businessweek.com/articles/2013-10-07/how-to-solve-the-debt-ceiling-crisis-forever

Back in 1979, the Democratic House Speaker, Tip O’Neill, handed the unhappy job of lining up votes for a debt-ceiling raise to Representative Richard Gephardt, then a young Democratic congressman from Missouri. Gephardt hated this, and, realizing he’d probably get stuck with it again, consulted the parliamentarian about whether the two votes could be combined. The parliamentarian said they could. Thereafter, whenever the House passed a budget resolution, the debt ceiling was “deemed” raised.

The “Gephardt Rule,” as it became known, lasted until 1995, when the new House Speaker, Newt Gingrich, fresh from the Republican triumph of the 1994 midterms, recognized the same thing that Tea Party Republicans recognize today: The threat of default could be used to extort Democratic concessions. Gingrich abolished the Gephardt Rule, and within the year the government had shut down.

Newt does it because he loves America so much!

Ohhhhh yeah. Shutdown the GOP down in 2014! Poll shows 9 Point Democratic Lead over GOP candidates!

Polls are showing that the Republicans are being blamed by most Americans for the trouble arising from the gov't shutdown, so I certainly hope the voters remember to blame the GOP in kind for the trouble they're causing, by voting in a year to get the extremists out!

POLL --> By a margin of 72-22 percent, the Quinnipiac University poll found the public not wanting a government shutdown, and by 64-27 percent opposed to holding up an increase in the debt ceiling as a political cudgel to block Obamacare.
Democrats have moved out to a nine point, 43-34 percent, lead in a “generic” ballot of which party’s candidates for Congress voters are inclined to support. http://blog.seattlepi.com/seattlepolitics/2013/10/01/dont-hold-hostage-budget-debt-ceiling-survey/

Breaking News on Dental Health - What more do America's leaders need to hear?

Those who've lacked the money to take care of their teeth, and had to worry what others thought of them for having bad or missing teeth (or lost out on jobs) already know what having bad teeth can do to your quality of life.
That's not even including the pain stemming from poor dental health, but now, multiple studies are linking bad teeth and oral health problems to even more diseases beyond heart disease.

There must be a bigger push within our gov't to get more money from the trillions of dollars in the budget to help stop preventable deaths, because as it stands, it seems in regards to adults, the Affordable Care Act has no teeth.

Aug. 16, 2013 The 2-Minute Habit That May Prevent Alzheimer's
http://health.yahoo.net/experts/dayinhealth/2-minute-habit-may-prevent-alzheimers
Taking great care of your teeth—with daily brushing and flossing—may dramatically cut risk for Alzheimer’s disease, according to surprising new research.

British scientists report finding signs of gum-disease bacteria in the brains of Alzheimer’s patients. The new study adds to a rapidly growing body of evidence strongly linking periodontal (gum) disease to greatly increased risk for the memory-robbing disorder.

Aug. 14, 2013 Colon cancer and oral bacteria linked in Case Western Reserve University Research
http://www.cleveland.com/healthfit/index.ssf/2013/08/case_western_reserve_researche.html
A research group at Case Western Reserve University’s School of Dental Medicine has found a link between colon cancer and gingivitis-causing bacteria that, until recently, were thought to only be found in the mouth.

Yiping Han, a professor of periodontics, and her lab have been studying the health effects of the bacterium, called Fusobacterium nucleatum, for about a decade, and have already connected it to preterm birth, stillbirth, and post-birth sepsis.

Their newest research, published online today in the journal Cell Host & Microbe, explains how the bacterium may turn on tumor growth in the colon, and also identifies a way to prevent its action. The researchers also hope their work will lead to a diagnostic tool that will help identify those at risk of colon cancer earlier in the disease’s progression.

Aug. 9, 2013 Oral health (Gingivitis) linked to diseases
http://www.mysanantonio.com/lifestyle/health-family/article/Oral-health-linked-to-diseases-4721220.php
Turns out gum disease is associated with a greater risk of developing diabetes, heart disease and even pregnancy complications. And a study released recently found evidence that bacteria linked to gingivitis traveled to brains afflicted by Alzheimer's disease, hinting at a role in dementia.

As the latest research deepens scientists' understanding of the link between dental health and disease, the potential implications are coming into focus. Something as simple as treating gum disease, a neglected, often painless condition, could limit damage from some of the world's most widespread and costly illnesses.

USA voters proven right for saying "OH, HELL NO!" to mean ol McSame in '08 & off-putting Mitt in '12

These rancid hacks just took a few days to show us all why the majority did the right thing in telling these immensely partisan, grumpy, divisive, mean-spirited political losers - "no fucking thanks!"

The foul partisan message that rMoney is putting out there, in his first comments about his crushing defeat by Obama, saying "gifts" to poor and working class voters are the reason for his loss are not just laughable, they're the problem with the GOP! They think the government is only supposed to benefit the wealthy who have contracts or are working on getting into the game. That's all it is to them. They don't care who they hurt along the way.

Mitt doesn't care about his nasty rhetoric running down half the nation behind closed doors, or saying he would get rid of FEMA, or his embarrassing, 'corporations are people' idiocy. The man insulted women by backing anti-rights "legitimate rape" candidates and policies, and even made one of those who backed the shameful "personhood" bill, along with Todd Akin, as his running mate. This running mate of his even said in the final days of the election that President Obama is destroying America's 'Judeo-Christian values'! Mitt knows exactly what he is saying, it's what's in his heart, and you can't change ugly!

And as for McGrumpy, oh my God, where is his caregiver, and why isn't he being given his medicine? Who lets him run around like this being all crotchety and angry? Can you imagine this man's angry red hands in charge of the nuclear launch buttons?
