He conceded to forego the SOTU Address until after the shutdown is over. I now hear that he is prepared to take this shutdown to March and maybe even April.
The longer this shutdown extends - the worse the SOTU will be.
By the time he would deliver the SOTU Address - this government under his administration will be in shambles. He won't have any good numbers or accomplishments to tout.
He really needs to cut his losses now.

What is Trump afraid of that Cohen might divulge?

In my eyes now - Cohen was just made a more credible witness by these threats.

And said that the shutdown has impacted the new Freshman Members of Congress in that they can't set up their district offices; can't get their laptops delivered and can't do the things they were elected to do.
Before I heard that I didn't know that it had that impact on these new members.
Do you think this is another motive for Trump to have this shutdown and extend it as long as possible in order to hamper the effectiveness of the now Dem House?
