Market still falling since they started this conference. Down 1000 now.
Trump - It's All An Act....
Everything he's doing is aimed at re-election. Pence kissing butt. Since Mnuchin started talking - market going down.
He should have said he told Mitch to pass the legislation immediately. Sounds like they still want to negotiate with Pelosi.
I get more & more disgusted with these guys by the day.
I Said It Before - This Is A "Put A Man On The Moon" Moment.....
This is one of those 'put a man on the moon' moments ala JFK.
We should mobilize every resource we have to see this through an accelerated development. If we can put a man on the moon - it is doable to accelerate the development of a vaccine and treatment modalities for this virus. It is doable to initiate a program to fast track manufacturing of respirators. It is doable to have virus tests, masks, gloves, sanitizing solutions, etc. produced in quantities that would satisfy the needs of the American People. It is doable to find vacant commercial properties which can be retrofitted quickly to accommodate more patients.
This is one of those moments where the top 1% can pool their billions of dollars together and do something good with their money for a change. The government can come up with monies to push such a program. [If Trump can find money to build his wall - finding money for a push on minimizing this Covid-19 crisis should be a no brainer.]
We need to mobilize now and put such a program together.
I believe we did something like this during WWII - where we switched manufacturing plants from making their typical products - to make materials to win the war.
We are Americans - We are up to this challenge!!!!
Where Are Schumer, Pelosi And All The Dems?.....
They should all be raising holy hell on all of the Repugs and Moscow Mitch And Trump on their inability to act fast on the passing of the Virus Bill in the Senate.
They should be on all the cable channels 24/7 until this is passed. They should lay this whole crisis on the Repug Party and Trump and encourage all Americans to take this incompetence and lack of urgency when American's are dying; the stock market is tanking and the whole country is shutting down.
Where is the government right now in our time of need? Why do they think that they can put this off for another minute let alone a couple of more days. How much blood does McConnell and Trump and the Repug Party need on their hands before they do something.
One Way To Get People To Stay Home And Self-Quarantine Is To....
have the cable TV companies and the streaming companies open all their channels up free for a period of time. People having something to pass their time while at home with a multiplicity of channels - will keep them in their seats at home and not out on the streets potentially spreading the virus.
What Do Epidemiologists Say Constitutes The Peak Of This Pandemic?.....
How do we know we've reached that stage in the pandemic of peak infections of the public and peak deaths related to the infections? When do we know that we're on the downside of the curve and getting back to normal?
Basic Cable TV And A Suggestion....
Many basic cable tv packages lack a cable news station. I recommend that for public health safety that the cable companies add for free - cable news stations to these packages.
It will be in the best interest of all of us that as we proceed through the next stages of this pandemic that we have a well informed public.
I can't imagine not being able to keep up on the developments of this crisis without my cable news stations.
Please call your cable companies and make this recommendation.
How Much Of That $50Billion Is Going To Corporations?.....
The next screw up by Trump is going to be how these funds are allocated, assessing the need of funds and tracking.
It should rank right up there with the separating children from parents, tracking them and matching them back up again.
I'd watch the Trump's & Kushner's trying to get their hands on some of that money.
