"You Couldn't Get A Job At McD's, Or A Job Anywhere In The Country, Telling Your Employer That You..

have an upcoming interview with the FBI."

This is a quote from an article I came across tonight re: Hillary's FBI Investigation. This article is chock full of interesting tidbits about Hillary's FBI problems.

My Understanding About 'Breaking Up The Big Banks'.......

My feeble understanding is that there are many different conflicting business/services that are functioning under the umbrella of a 'big bank'. By conflicting my understanding is that one of these business/services can actually make money for another through a kind of collusion thereby compounding the $ take by the bank - yet on the surface these two businesses/services shouldn't exist under one umbrella.

When people hear of 'breaking up the big banks' the insinuation is that a lot of employees that work in the "big bank" would be out of jobs.

Again - my feeble understanding of this is that - these businesses/services now under the umbrella of one organization - would be spun off an become separate and distinct businesses/services - no longer under one umbrella - so as to eliminate the possibility of conflicting interests under one organization (i.e., the big bank) - to stop the churning of profits that actually harm the consumer.

It's not like these spun off businesses/services would cease to exist and that all the employees that work for these businesses/services would be let go. Actually - these spin offs would continue to exist - but they would be separate and distinct to eliminate the possibility of a money making collusion between them.

In essence - no employees would be out of jobs - in fact - more employees would probably need to be hired in these spin offs - where now - they benefit from having them under one umbrella and being responsible for multiple tasks associated with the combined businesses.

I'm bringing this up because the other day I was in a social situation where the people involved were under the impression that breaking up the big banks would cause massive unemployment.

Now either they are right and I'm under the wrong impression here or vice versa.

Can someone hear chime in about - what exactly does 'breaking up the big banks' mean and it's potential effect on our economy?

Are There Any Down Ticket Races Or Issues In NY That....

will get people out to vote in numbers that could help any presidential candidate running in either party?

Don't Believe The Polls....

That should be the message to the Hillary supporters. Think about it - they can be setting Hillary up for an embarrassing defeat to continue Bernie's momentum.

Seems to me that the Hillary camp is looking worried. Could their internals be telling them something else?

Go Bernie!!!

Feel the Bern!!!!

It's Time To Make Another $27.00 Donation To Bernie.....

We need to make April bigger than March in terms of donor money. He'll need a lot of money to compete in the NY market as I heard that media ads are through the roof.

It's time again for us to come to Bernie's aid and essentially our aid - by making another donation. It's money well spent if we can rocket him into the White House.

Go Bernie!!!

Feel The Bern!!!!!

Some Dems That Voted The Same Way Bernie Did On That Gun Bill - Some That Have Endorsed Hillary...

There were other Dems both in the House & Senate that voted the same way Bernie did on that Gun bill that Hillary is attacking Bernie on. Some are no longer in Congress but were notable names that I'll mention here. There are some that are still in office that have endorsed Hillary.

Some of the notable Dems that stood out to me are Jay Rockefeller, Robert Byrd, Byron Dorgon - big named Dems that are no longer in office.

But Harry Reid. Harry is still in the Senate and he voted like Bernie did and has endorsed Hillary.

On the House side the following are still in Congress, voted yes like Bernie and have now endorsed Hillary: Jim Costa, CA; Loretta Sanchez CA; G.K. Butterfield NC; Tim Ryan OH. One that didn't endorse Hillary and is still around is Peter DeFazio OR.

Two names that stood out that are no longer in Congress but endorsed Hillary are: Harold Ford and John Dingell.

Will Hillary call these people out too?

If you want the complete voting record on this bill - check out the links on this OP:

Do You See A Difference Between The Terms 'Gun Dealer' & 'Gun Manufacturer'?....

I noticed that MSNBC uses the term 'gun dealer' when talking about the attack Hillary is making on Bernie Re: Sandy Hook. The tag line on the screen reads 'dealer'.

I'm wondering if that is intentional as that I think many people have a different impression of what a 'dealer' is versus what a 'manufacturer' is.

This to me is just a manipulative tactic to give a false impression of what the vote was about.

I hope I'm making myself clear here as to the implication of what could be considered a 'dealer' vs a 'manufacturer'.

If I'm not explaining this correctly maybe somebody could help out and state this better than I'm doing.

The Protection Of Lawful Commerce In Arms Act - The Gun Vote Hillary Is Using Against Bernie....

After doing some research on this I was able to find the following about how both Senate & House Members voted on this.

Bernie (I) was in the House at the time and voted yes on this bill. Hillary (D) was in the Senate and voted no.

The interesting thing though is to look at the other Dems both in the House and Senate that also voted yes on this bill - just like Bernie. Many of them are not in Congress any more - but there are some notable names on the list and you can check for yourself at the links below.

Some that stood out to me are Jay Rockefeller, Robert Byrd, Byron Dorgon and Harry Reid. Harry is still in the Senate and has endorsed Hillary.

Hillary is singling out Bernie for voting yes on this bill - but I find it interesting that a number of present and former members of Congress that have endorsed Hillary - also voted yes on this bill.

Will she come out and take them to task for their votes?

What Did I Miss - I've Been Away From DU For A Couple Of Hours And What Happened .....

on the Dem Primary front? What's going on?

April 6, 2016

Wasn't The Time To Question Whether Bernie Is A Dem Or Not....

back when he was throwing his hat in the ring to run in the primaries. If they didn't think he was a Dem - why did they let him run in the Dem primaries? Why is DWS half heartedly working with him and complementing both candidates as being good Dems and running a better race than the Repugs? Hillary didn't contest Bernie running as a Dem back at the start and now she is attacking him as not being a Dem. So bottom line it is her own fault that she has to deal with Bernie today. She was deluded to think she was going to be coronated and now that Bernie is threatening her and she is frustrated and desperate - she decided to launch a 'scorched earth' strategy to take him out. Sorry Hillary - too little too late. You have Bernie being in this all the way till the convention - deal with it.
