When Bernie Loses A State There Is Always Over The Top Analysis Of His Loss And Hillary's Win.....

by MSM and the 'talking heads'. They talk about all the demographics and pick it apart to make Bernie look real bad. I don't know if I missed it - but I didn't see that type of analysis today about Bernie's win and Hillary's loss in Wisconsin.

Did I just miss it or was it so negative for Hillary - that they just didn't want to talk about it.

If The Repug Party Implodes And They Come Out Of The Convention At Odds With Various Factions.....

and further - if they lose the WH - will the rank and file Repugs that remain in Congress (Senate & House) will they be beholden to the Party and still have to vote in lock step with what remains of the Party or will they be able to really do their jobs and perhaps vote their conscious?

I curious as to what people here on DU think about this. The reason I'm asking is whomever the Dem President is - will they have a better chance of finding bipartisan support, same chance as now or worse?

Just something I've been thinking about.

Hillary Is Attacking Bernie On The Gun Issue Re: Suing Manufacturers Of Guns.....

Now I don't know how to look this up so I'm asking if anyone here knows or can help with the answer to my following questions:

1. Was Bernie the only Dem that voted for this? If not, what other Dems voted like Bernie?

2. If there were any other Dems that voted like Bernie did - are any of them Super Delegates for Hillary?

I'm just curious here.

I agree with Bernie's position on this vote and I can't for the life of me know why he's being attacked because of it.

If my car hits somebody and kills them - you don't sue the car manufacturer.

If It Is All But Over For Bernie And The Math Is Such That He Can't Win The Nomination......

then why is Hillary launching a 'scorched earth' campaign to discredit and disqualify Bernie instead of turning her time, energies and money against the Repugs for the General Election?

It doesn't make sense to me. Wouldn't a better strategy be to just ignore Bernie as a non-factor? Why risk alienating Bernie supporters that she will need to win the GE? I don't get it?

Did Anybody Hear The MSNBC's Discussion About We Are A Republic And Not A Democracy.....

and if we get contested conventions - that the American People are in for a rude awakening?

I'm paraphrasing here - but that was the gist I got out of that banter of the talking heads on MSNBC. This discussion preceded them calling both races tonight.

The Media Vultures Are Licking Their Chops Tonight....

CNN is doing everything possible to minimize a Bernie win tonight in Wisconsin. They are doing everything they can to say that Bernie can't win. Yet they are also saying that there might be a contested convention and that will make it good for the media folk. MSNBC on the other hand was taking down Trump and Cruz as both being bad for the Repugs. They too are looking forward to a contested Repug convention.

Just in though MSNBC just called Cruz and Bernie as projected winners. Yeah - Bernie!!!

Rachel tried to take wind out of Bernie's sails by saying Hillary has 6 and Bernie has 6. I'm thinking she was referring to primary state wins. Whatever though - she was trying to minimize Bernie's win tonight.

What Is Chuckie Trying To Catch Hillary On Re: Abortion?....

Looks like he's trying to do a 'gotcha' on MTP now.

So It Looks Like The Hillary Folk Are Now Going After Bernie Because He's Jewish....

and spent some time on a kibbutz. What will they resort to next?

Check out their link on this and their comments: http://www.democraticunderground.com/110788745

Sandra Bernhard, the American comedian, actress, author and singer, volunteered in Kibbutz Kfar Menachem at the age of 17 in 1972.

I Just Heard A Quote From Trump Saying He'd Be The Last To Use A Nuclear Weapon.....

I think I tend to agree with him. If he did use a nuclear weapon - it would end the world as we know it. He would be the last.

ACA Enrollees Cost More In Care Major Insurer Finds - Duh!!!.....

The headline says

"They’re sicker, plus ACA enrollees cost more in care, major insurer finds"

Consumers who signed up for Blue Cross Blue Shield health plans through the Affordable Care Act’s insurance marketplaces these last two years tended to be sicker and incurred greater medical costs than people with BCBS coverage through their jobs.

The enrollees in those individual health plans in 2014 and 2015 had higher rates of diabetes, depression and heart disease, according to a report released by the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association.

Medical costs for individuals who obtained coverage through the ACA’s insurance exchanges were, on average, 22 percent higher than those with employer-based coverage in 2015, according to the association. Average monthly medical spending per member was $559 for individual enrollees in 2015, for example, versus $457 for group members.

The association represents 36 plans that together provide healthcare coverage for nearly 105 million members — about 1 in 3 Americans.

We shouldn't be surprised that they're sicker. Think about it - these are the people that couldn't afford health insurance before ACA came about. They neglected their health because they couldn't afford to go to a doctor or buy prescription medications. Now they finally have insurance and can seek health care without putting them in bankruptcy. Once all people have health insurance - this problem will diminish as more people will seek help when they get sick and practice good preventative medicine.
