What Is Trump's End Game Here?.....

Is it just to enrich himself and his family or is it something more sinister?

It Will Be Very Telling - If No Repugs Challenge Trump On His Conclusion That Russia/Putin.....

didn't interfere with our election after this meeting with Putin. He took Putin's word over our own intelligence agencies. He should have walked into that meeting with irrefutable proof provided by our intelligence agencies that he/they did interfere and then slapped on some new sanctions on Putin/Russia. Further he should have said if they do it again the sanctions would even be stiffer.

All I got to say is that the Repugs better come out against Trump on this. If they don't - then we know that they were just as involved with collusion with the Russians as Trump and his team were.

All our hopes now ride on Mueller in being able to do his job.

Here's How Any Other American President Would Have Handled Putin...

Gone into the meeting with irrefutable proof provided by our Intelligence Agencies that Russia hacked and interfered with our election. Then set down some new sanctions and a threat to even stiffer ones should they ever do it in the future.

You don't ask Putin if he/Russia hacked and interfered. You'd expect him to deny it - then you're dead in the water.

That's what Trump did because if he acknowledges Russian interference and hacking - it deligitimizes his win. He can't have that. Plus he's dissed our Intelligence Agencies. He couldn't bring proof of the interference because he's already discredited them.

So clearly Putin won today. But Trump is 'ok' with that because of his ego and the fact that in his mind his win is validated.

We got to get rid of Trump because everyday he diminishes this country on an on-going basis.

We need to take back the Senate & the House in 2018 and then immediately initiate impeachment proceedings.

If we don't we won't have a country left to defend.

Just How Much Are We Going To Learn About The Trump/Putin Meeting?.....

It will be a private meeting. At most, we'll maybe see pictures of them before the meeting and then after the meeting. But the meeting itself will be confidential and we'll only learn what each side will say - if there is some sort of press conference after the meeting - and each side will have their own interpretation.

Listening to the cable news channels today - they have been putting a lot of emphasis on this meeting - like we're going to hear exactly what was discussed.

A lot of the talking heads are saying that Trump will get played by Putin. And that Trump is a rookie compared to Putin with respect to meetings like this with foreign leaders.

We know whatever is discussed - Trump will come out telling us that his performance at the meeting was great and that Putin didn't know what hit him.

I'm just thinking that too much emphasis has been placed on this meeting that we'll learn practically nothing about.

What Happened To The Trump Collusion Investigation?.....

Did it go underground or has the MSM just tired of it?

It seems to have died on the vine as the only talk of the last couple of weeks was the Repug healthcare bill, Trump's tweets and his trip abroad.

I'm hoping that Mueller is hard at work getting to the bottom of the Trump's team treason and Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Has there been any recent and new breaking news accounts of this investigation that I may have missed?

This Voter Suppression Attempt By Kobach - Was This Something That Came Up Because Of....

the circumstances of the Nov election or was this planned well in advance?

I'm of the opinion that what we witnessed in Nov was a coup d'etat. I posted my opinion here before and as every day of the Trump presidency passes - I become more firm in my belief. It was complete with collusion with the Russians and not only the Trump campaign - but the whole of the Repug Party. I believe that the plan was put into place a long time ago and that denying President Obama a SCOTUS appointment was part of the plan.

I believe that they knew that Trump was going to win. I believe that there was not only voter suppression but tampering with the voting machines in order to assure a clean sweep by the Repugs. The reason that the DHS doesn't want to acknowledge that the voting machines were tampered with in any way - if it proved out to be true - opens up a can of worms that nobody in D.C. is prepared to deal with. As such - it's best that - we'd rather not know because it provides proof of a coup d'etat.

There is now a systematic dismantling of the U.S. government by Trump and the Repugs. Part of the plan is to discredit the press so that a great portion of the American People believe that the press is the bad guy - so that when the Mueller investigation reaches conclusions that there was collusion by Trump's team and quite possibly the Repugs - that the press will not be believed.

This Kobach Election commission thingy is part of the plan to further control the outcome of future elections and assure the Repugs a continual power block of the Dems.

This is why I think that the Repugs (House and Senate) aren't afraid to do the damage to health care, tax reform, environment, foreign relations, etc - because they know that their seats will be protected going forward.

I don't believe for one moment that this election commission came up just because Trump didn't win the popular vote and feels that he was cheated. I think that this commission was part of the plan.

With respect to Trump's tweets and his WH staff and the Repugs in general - always circling the wagons for him - again - part of the plan as they feel secure in their positions.

With respect to his cabinet appointments - and that one cabinet meeting where they went around the table and professed their undying devotion to Trump - seems to me that most of them are in this coup as well.

Trump tried to discredit the intelligence community. I don't think he's been very successful at that attempt. I believe our intelligence community might be the only thing we on the other side can rely on to turn this coup around. Though I have to say there are some suspicious characters in that community that might be doing double duty here.

Now is Trump a demented man that doesn't know what he is doing or is he an evil genius. If he is a sick, demented man, a useful tool - who is controlling his puppet strings? Who is pushing the buttons?

Just my humble opinion. This illusion of disarray - if you look at it with a different eye - looks very well planned out and choreographed. Just saying!!!!!

Any Connections Between Rudy Giuliani And Peter W. Smith?.....

I don't remember the details - but didn't Rudy step in it with respect to Hillary's e-mails? Just wondering if he knew or had contact with the Repug operative Peter W. Smith of WSJ article fame?
