Trump Is Just Not Funny Anymore.....
I posted this last evening and I'm posting it again now - because we have just run out of any humor at all associated with Donald Trump.
Here is the ultimate blow that can destroy Trump.
Saturday Night Live should make a statement this coming Saturday saying they will not do any more skits/spoofs/jokes/impressions, etc about Trump.
They should say:
What he has done - sexual assault - is not funny and we will not make it a joke. We are appalled by his behavior and as far as we are concerned - he is dead to us. He will not be a part of our shows - going forward.
Trump looks at impersonation as flattery. It keeps him in the spotlight. He thinks that even negative publicity is good publicity.
So the only thing that I believe that will severely wound him is to ignore him. Wipe him from the spotlight. And the first place to do that is with SNL and the late night comedians.
Think about the impact that Alec Baldwin, Lorne Michaels and the cast of SNL would have if they started the next show (Baldwin as himself instead of the cartoon Trump) - saying that they will no longer do the Trump impersonation. They cannot condone - even by making fun of Trump - his gross behavior - and they will not dishonor women who were impacted by Trump by continuing that act.
This should be followed up by all the late night comedians - Fallon, Cobert, Kimmel, O'Brien, Meyers - following suit and dropping Trump from their monologues as well and for the same reasons.
Continually making fun of Trump - especially under the circumstances of what he's done - is not a laughing matter. SNL and all the comedians - should take a stand here and do this in respect for all the women that Trump has physically and mentally harmed.
I know that Trump is comedy gold to them - but what Trump has said, done and acted on is despicable and is not funny.
Donald Trump would be crushed by such actions taken by the people that he tries to be one of - TV personalities. They should perhaps go one step further and never invite him on as a guest again - a boycott of TV for Trump. His ego couldn't handle it. You got to know that he eats it up when they make him the butt of a joke. Stopping it would just do him in.
Think of how the MSM would react and cover such an action by SNL and late nite comedians. This would be a crushing blow to Trump and perhaps - just perhaps - such an action might get to the very core of Trumps core supporters. Maybe something like this would open their eyes.

establishment Repugs. My neighbor tells me this. He's a staunch Conservative (Cruz type) and he can't support the likes of Ryan & McConnell nor Trump. He doesn't listen to Rush or Hannity at all anymore. His go to RW talking head is Mike Levine.
He says the Tea Party is a small part of the GOP now.
I said I thought that when Trump loses that he will have the biggest bloc of support in the Party and Trump and his deplorables would take over the leadership in the Party.
I'm really confused here and I just don't have a grasp as to what exactly is going on in the GOP. Who's at odds with whom?
He says the Repug Party is going to go extinct and that some group will emerge with a different name.
Can someone help me here and try and clue me in on what is going on and what I'm missing?

He's had conversations and been in meetings with all the Intelligensia up and down the Repug Party. His fellow primary contenders. The Chairman of the RNC. Speaker of the House. Majority Leader of the Senate. Senators and Congressmen throughout the Party. Repug Governors. Retired Emeritus Repugs. Repug Think Tanks. Right Wing talking heads up and down the media.
Just think of all the inside information he was able to glean from them. All their dirty little secrets and strategies they use against Obama, Hillary and the Dems.
Think about how he can use that against them and blackmail them now.
Isn't it just beautiful how much Trump has them over the barrel?

We wake up the day after election day with Hillary as President and the Dems in control of both the House and the Senate

Trump makes a statement that he 'Made America Great Again'. His bid for the presidency was all a con against the Repugs. All along he wanted to crush the Repug Party and he's now succeeded.
The people that did support him really are 'deplorable'. He wanted to flesh them out and expose their deplorable ways.
Would you have a different opinion of Trump if that happened?
This whole post came about from a dream I just woke up to.
Essentially - Trump's bid for the presidency was the biggest con in TV - even bigger than the ninth season of Dallas. "I am the greatest showman" he proclaimed - and then I woke up.

what was the outcome of those people? Did they remain undecided? How did they line up Hillary vs Trump afterwards?

My Significant Other Is A Staunch Hillary Supporter But She Still Says She Can't Count Trump.....
out. After watching the debate last night she said of Trump - that his smug demeanor, his cockiness and just his demeaning stature, look and lurking of Hillary - smacks of him knowing something like he is going to pull a win out of this election - that the fix is in.
Is it possible that this election can be stolen at this point? Could a real fix be in? Could the voting be hacked - either internally by Repugs or externally by perhaps Russian hackers that want to keep Hillary out of office?
Or are the numbers just too overwhelming in favor of Hillary right now that stealing this election is just impossible?
I know that in a real close race - that it doesn't take much to move some votes in favor of one candidate or another to give them a win. Are we there or is this going to be a rout by Hillary and the Dems?
I can't wait till this election is over - because I'm having too many sleepless nights.
