Angry Russian mothers accuse Putin of using their sons as cannon fodder

https://twitter.com/Telegraph/status/1500769632768118788?s=20&t=TMHerbuxln31d_LljUqbag

Have also read that in Russia ordinary people because of sanctions have no access to cash ATMs and food getting scarce. Ordinary people always suffer the worse in war, eh?

Warships may be on way to BEAUTIFUL Odessa

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2022/03/03/ukraine-military-kherson-odessa-kyiv-mariupol/

The mayor of Odessa, a major port on the Black Sea, said the population was preparing to mount a defense amid unverified reports that a large fleet of Russian warships was heading toward the waters off the coast.

“Who are you saving us from?” Mayor Gennady Trukhanov said in a video posted online, using an expletive as he addressed Russian leaders who have said the purpose of the invasion is to save ethnic Russians and Russian-language communities in Ukraine.

“Our job today is to act so that every meter of our Odessa land is under control of us, Odessians,” Trukhanov told reporters, according to a separate video posted to his Facebook page.

So we knew what putin was going to do ahead of time. What's plan B?

So far, putin's continuing to execute his plan, adding more fire power. Not deterred by sanctions or anyone calling his actions war crimes.

Meanwhile, Ukrainians fighting for their lives at this very SECOND. People and children are dying. War crimes being committed.

So sadly guess the free world doesn't have a Plan B. Because if we do more we risk nuclear war? And if we did more before invasion -- that would have risked nuclear war too????? Can't prove it now of course, but in retrospect, this strategy sounds like it would have been really super smart. Need to dig up what one DUer talked about a lot

So bottom line Ukrainians sacrificial. Just too hard to watch this.
