Trump Diehards Create Their Own Yelp for MAGA-Friendly Restaurants

Everywhere they look, Donald Trump’s supporters feel like they’re under attack. White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked to leave a restaurant; Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was chased out of another. Right-wing media outlets are filled with stories of liberals pulling off “Make America Great Again” hats.

---

Now, in a move reminiscent of the “Green Book” guide that listed safe establishments for African-American motorists in the South, hyper-vigilant Trump supporters are trying to build their own guide to MAGA-friendly businesses.

63red Safe works like a conservative Yelp. Instead of reviewing the lighting and ambience, though, the site’s users rate restaurants and other businesses on a series of four questions, including whether the restaurant’s owners make political social-media posts and whether they allow customers to carry weapons.

“Does this business serve persons of every political belief?” the app’s questions read. “Will this business protect its customers if they are attacked for political reasons?”

Arkansas Senator walks out during debate over amending state self-defense laws; panel rejects bill

Arkansas Senator walks out during debate over amending state self-defense laws; panel rejects bill
Legislation that would eliminate the "duty to retreat" from Arkansas' self-defense laws was narrowly voted down in a Senate committee meeting Wednesday evening, after hours of testimony against the measure from gun-control groups, law enforcement, prosecutors and civil-rights advocates.

Efforts to pass similar legislation -- known as "stand your ground laws" -- date back at least a decade in Arkansas. All have failed under both Democratic and Republican legislatures.

Debate over Senate Bill 484, which stretched into the early evening, reached a crescendo as Sen. Stephanie Flowers, D-Pine Bluff, raised her voice in a plea against a successful attempt by other members of the Judiciary Committee to limit debate.

Here Are Some Tips On How To Help Bees Survive

Bees are the backbone of the environment as we know it, helping many plant and animal species by pollinating. “More than 20,000 bee species around the world are the most important group of pollinators for farming and wild plants,” a representative from The Honeybee Conservancy told Bored Panda. We can thank bees for such delicious produce as potatoes, tangerines, apples and so, so much more! “One in three mouthfuls of food we eat benefits from bee pollination” the representative added.

Unfortunately, as precious as the bees are to our ecosystem, there has been an increasing worry regarding their numbers and what it means to our future. “Populations are declining due to a variety of factors including human development, pesticides, disease and a changing climate,” The Honeybee Conservancy representative explained. That’s why various organizations and volunteers are banding together to help out our little pollinators by spreading awareness and investing time and money to pass legislation that would help preserve many bee species by banning various insecticides.

Cheese tossing at infants. Is this a real thing?

‘Humanity is doomed’: People keep throwing cheese on babies’ faces for social media likes

What happens if you throw a slice of cheese at a baby’s face?

Some laugh and shake it off. Others grimace, stumble around blindly, recoil like they’ve been hit by a truck, flail their arms, or stare reproachfully at the cheese-thrower. Some eat the cheese. Generally, all look confused.

We know this thanks to a week-old viral phenomenon called the “cheese challenge,” in which people toss shiny slices of processed cheese at unsuspecting infants and share their reactions on social media. Depending on whom you ask, it’s either extremely hilarious or proof that the Internet should never have been invented.

I'll admit that I used to entertain my toddlers with a slice of cheese. If you warm it between your hands and then press it to the tray of the high chair, it will keep them busy for several minutes scraping small bits of it up to eat. I never thought about throwing it at their faces, however.

Roger Stone may have violated gag order.

Special counsel Robert Mueller notifies judge that Trump friend Roger Stone posted Instagram image that could violate gag order.

Special counsel Robert Mueller notifies a federal judge about an Instagram post by President Donald Trump’s friend Roger Stone that could be in violation of the judge’s strict gag order on Stone.
The filing by Mueller notes CNBC’s story on Sunday detailing the post by Stone, which contained an image of him under the words “Who framed Roger Stone.”
Stone, 66, is barred from commenting on Mueller’s team of prosecutors under the gag order imposed by Judge Amy Berman Jackson in late February.

Beyond the obvious stupidity, why is a man walking near a Girl Scout cabin with a pistol in his waistband?
