Here's an interesting take on Trump's surprise visit to Walter Reed.

Never Trump Republican predicts surprise Walter Reed visit an ‘excuse’ to resign for ‘health reason’

President Donald Trump made a surprise visit to Walter Reed Hospital on Saturday to undergo “portions” of his annual physical.

Following the visit, press secretary Stephanie Grisham claimed Trump was “healthy” and “without complaints” after the presidential motorcade returned to the White House.

Conservative pundit Cheri Jacobus suggested the visit was a political move to tee up Trump’s resignation — and pardoning.

She said Trump is “getting his annual physical 3 months early is so he can quickly resign for alleged ‘health reasons’ now that he’s guilty as hell and has nowhere left to run and hide.”

I can see him doing this instead of waiting for the results of impeachment.

This quote seems very appropriate for today:

There will be a time when loud-mouthed, incompetent people seem to be getting the best of you. When that happens, you only have to be patient and wait for them to self destruct. It never fails.

Help me out here. I can't decide if this Ann Coulter tweet is sarcasm or what.

Okay, that does it. I give up. They can stay. You must go. https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1194219655717642240

Many of the people in DACA, no longer very young, are far from “angels.” Some are very tough, hardened criminals. President Obama said he had no legal right to sign order, but would anyway. If Supreme Court remedies with overturn, a deal will be made with Dems for them to stay!

What do you think. Is it real or is it Memorex?

Former President Carter out of surgery, no complications

Former President Jimmy Carter was recovering Tuesday following surgery to relieve pressure on his brain from bleeding linked to recent falls.

A statement from his spokeswoman said there were no complications from the procedure, performed at Emory University Hospital for a subdural hematoma, blood trapped on the brain’s surface.

Carter, 95, will remain in the hospital for observation, said Deanna Congileo, his spokeswoman at the Carter Center.

The statement said the Carters thank everyone for the many well-wishes they have received, and Congileo doesn’t anticipate making more announcements until he’s released.

Get well soon, President Carter. We still need you.

Don't reveal the whistleblower on Donald Trump's phone call with Ukraine

The fundamental promise of whistleblower protection is to create a safe space for a witness of wrongdoing to come forward and report it — and, for the sake of his or her professional reputation or even physical safety, to remain anonymous in doing so.

Nothing chills truth-telling in the halls of power like the risk of retribution, and no risk is more harrowing than unmasking potentially impeachable offenses by a president.

So it may come as little surprise that Donald Trump — with his legacy and potentially even his job hanging in the balance — would turn the promise of whistleblower protection on its head. He has launched a vitriolic campaign to publicly identify the person who exposed his problematic July 25 phone call with the president of Ukraine.

Triggering impeachment inquiry
The whistleblower is a member of the U.S. intelligence community who confidentially told Congress in August that Trump pressured Ukraine to dig up dirt on a political opponent, a complaint that triggered a House investigation and subsequently an impeachment inquiry.
