It doesn't count if it's not counted

or something like that. 🤔

Remember back when Bush started the illegal war and killed probably a million innocent Iraqis? Except that nobody will ever know how many he actually killed because reports of the casualties were hidden?

Seems like Trump’s taking a page from that playbook. If testing isn’t adequate people can’t be diagnosed. If they aren’t diagnosed then the blame for catastrophic loss can’t be placed on Trump — because .... the numbers aren’t that bad.

I don’t know the endgame. China and other communist countries are stifling their numbers. But America isn’t China. Yet. The treason against American citizens and the country has to stop.

I have zero faith in the looming election

The entire primary process has been manipulated by the right wing—from the too-early candidate declarations more than a year ahead of the actual election; to the pitted debates; to the caucus tampering and now to the inevitable vote suppression. The massive turnout—of many voters Super Tuesday was thwarted by making poll equipment unavailable.

How and why people continue to overlook the obstacles to simply voting is beyond me. Nothing is more important—not Trump’s next fiasco, or even the 400 bills on McConnells desk.

From 2000 to now we’ve been shocked by vote tampering and suppression; wept at fixed election outcomes only to turn our sights to the next rigged election.

Insanity still means doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

If you cannot say something positive about Democrats

In a Democratic forum then STFU.

Too much is at stake for the incessant criticism.

Can I start a running Thank You For My Hearts thread?

Thank you from the heart for my hearts.

DU means so VERY much to me. I’ve been here (and away when it all got to be too much) since Bushco.

Military propaganda bothers me

Just saw yet another newz segment featuring the reunion of a military person with family.

While I understand completely the emotion of being reunited with an absent family member I think it’s exploitive that these events are pretty much successful propaganda.

Few know or question why they fight, who they fight/kill and why they are absent from their families at all. Association with the military should not be unquestioned.

Customer (white male) today asked what I think of Trump

I evaded the question saying that I simply pray for the country daily. He said that he hates him because of his lack of integrity and character and that he couldn’t believe close relatives voted for him. He also mentioned the Biden deflection and how Trumpco is stealing all they can. He left saying he wished he had time to say more but ANYBODY would be better than Trump.

That parting message was disturbing. Another RepubLIEcon is no better than Trump. They’re one and the same.

More "Newz" on the caucus than impeachment-Hilary implicated

now as one of those connected to the software developers. 🙄

Last night Byron Pitts covered it on Nightline ending the segment by saying something like “if there are any winners in all of this it’s Trump.”

WTF

Nightline sickened me last night

Was watching (listening mostly) last night as they mentioned the Iowa caucus vote count glitch. The ending statement by Byron Pitts was something like “since Democrats are not able to tell who won Trump wins.”

Nixon's impeachment started with a unified GOP

Over the course of a few weeks public sentiment shifted and so did political loyalties in unison with the people. There was a real fear of losing congressional seats.

Even with growing calls for evidence RepubLIEcons today have no fears about who votes or even if they vote. They have no fear of losing.

What do they know that we don’t? Are $$$ going to buy all of them the next majority?

That’s the pressing question as we head towards November.
