Today Hillary Clinton is announcing a new plan to protect Americans from unjustified price hikes of long-available prescription drugs with limited competition, like EpiPens and pyrimethamine, the drug for a disease related to AIDS that Turing Pharmaceuticals raised the price of by more than 5,000%.

Donald Trump won’t just deport undocumented immigrants. Apparently, he is also America’s best hope against the Great Taco Truck Menace.

Latinos for Trump cofounder Marco Gutierrez issued the strange prophecy during a discussion of Trump’s proposal to deport millions. He began by quoting “Star Trek,” saying “the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.”

Then, for good measure, he added, “and different times, different problems.”

When asked to clarify, Gutierrez went from “Trek” to trucks, specifically taco trucks.

“My culture is a very dominant culture,” he warned. “And it’s imposing, and it’s causing problems. If you don’t do something about it, you’re gonna have taco trucks every corner.”

Kansas misses August revenue estimates by about $10 million

Kansas missed revenue estimates for August by more than $10 million.

The state fell 2.3 percent below estimates for the month overall.

It was the fourth straight month that Kansas has failed to hit its revenue projections. Tax collections have fallen short 10 of the past 12 months.

Kansas has struggled to balance its budget since GOP legislators heeded Brownback’s call to slash personal income taxes in 2012 and 2013 as an economic stimulus. On Thursday, an economist with the Washington-based Tax Foundation told Mississippi lawmakers evaluating planned tax cuts that Kansas is “an example of what not to do in tax reform.”

WASHINGTON ― Prominent members of the white supremacist movement applauded Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s immigration speech Wednesday.

David Duke, a former Ku Klux Klan leader and current Senate candidate in Louisiana, called the speech “excellent.” Jared Taylor, editor of the white nationalist publication American Renaissance, said it was a “hell of a speech. Almost perfect.”

Donald Trump’s immigration policy speech was so full of vile hatred and hot air that it virtually destroyed whatever chance he had left of winning the election.

Trump’s speech rehashed all of his scare tactics about immigrants coming to the US and killing white people. Trump repeated his widely debunked claim that immigrants come to the US and steal jobs for American workers and added the claim that immigrants in the country illegally are treated better than veterans.
