and talking about investing in China,
and Obama wouldn't even look at him directly,
and he kept badgering wildly,
and Candy Crowly said I think we've gone a little off topic
we were talking about immigration....


did I dream that whole sequence?
if not was it as bizarre as I remember it?

Was it actually an official "rule" that Biden would address Ryan as Mr. Ryan?

and not Congressman Ryan, or Paulie?
I never found out if that was a joke, or a real rule.

If not a joke: did Biden ever refer to him as Mr. Ryan?
It was always "the Congressman" or "my friend"
(as I recall.) That would be awfully funny, especially
since almost nobody would be noticing except Mr.Ryan.

Come out and watch Thursday's VP debate with KUNM and Amy Goodman live at the UNM Continuing Education Auditorium.

The VP debate has increased in prominence following last week's debate. Why not step out, stop in and watch it on the big screen?

THIS IS A KUNM EVENT. They are accepting donations at the door to offset their expenses, but no one will be turned away. Seating is first-come, first-served and no RSVP is required. Help spread the word. This all ages event will feature a post-debate discussion with Amy Goodman, host of Democracy Now! on KUNM. Doors open at 6:15, the VP debate starts at 7pm.

After the debate, join the discussion and book-signing with Amy Goodman and Denis Moynihan. Their new book is The Silenced Majority. Bookworks will be on hand if you want to buy a copy of the book for Amy to sign.
